A touch-sensing display panel, comprising an LCD unit including a backlight and a plurality of image-forming pixel elements arranged in a central region. A planar light guide with a first refractive index has a front surface forming a touch-sensing region and an opposite rear surface facing the LCD unit. A plurality of light emitters are emulated by passing light from the backlight through pixel elements of first selected portions of a peripheral region of the LCD unit into the light guide for propagation therein through total internal reflection, and a plurality of light detectors are connected to receive light from the light guide.

DYNAMIC ASSIGNMENT OF POSSIBLE CHANNELS IN A TOUCH SENSOR

Methods are disclosed for dynamic assignment of possible channels in a touch sensitive device having rows and columns. In an embodiment, a method determines a first signal space in which to generate signals for use in the touch sensor. Signals are then generated in the first signal space on separate ones of the rows and a column signal is sensed on a column. The first signal space is replaced with a second signal space, and a second plurality of signals is generated for use in the touch sensor in the second frequency space. The second plurality of signals is sensed to identify a touch event in the touch sensitive device.

Infrared touch screen, touch detection method thereof and display apparatus

An infrared touch screen, a touch detection method thereof and a display apparatus are provided. The infrared touch screen comprises: a display device, an infrared emitter and a first infrared receiver arranged at any side of a display surface of the display device, the infrared emitter emitting a plurality of infrared rays scattered and covering a light exiting surface of the display device; and a plurality of second infrared receivers arranged at intervals on other sides the display surface of the display device except the side provided with the infrared emitter and corresponding to the plurality of infrared rays in a one-to-one correspondence relationship, wherein, the first infrared receiver detects an infrared ray reflected by a touch position, in the infrared rays emitted by the infrared emitter.
