METHOD OF INSPECTING A SENSOR

A method of inspecting a sensor including generating a first model based on first big-data including first inspection results for sensors of a same type connected to a current inspection environment, generating first target characteristic coefficients for channels included in the first model, generating first characteristic coefficients for channels included in a current sensor, and generating first compensation coefficients for the channels included in the current sensor based on the first target characteristic coefficients and the first characteristic coefficients.

Display device including device for supplying signal to panel driving integrated circuit

Disclosed is a technology that supplies a signal to a panel driving integrated circuit (IC). A plurality of signals having different characteristics are stably provided to a panel driving IC according to a display operation or a touch operation, by controlling capacitance connected to a transmission conduction wire.

Touch electrodes with bar and stripe pattern

This relates to touch sensor panels/touch screens including touch electrodes in a bar-and-stripe pattern. The bar-and-stripe pattern can improve touch signal levels for touch detection and improve uniformity of touch signal as objects move across the touch sensor panel/touch screen. Touch electrodes in a bar-and-stripe pattern can be formed from metal mesh in one or more layers of metal mesh. In some examples, “stripes” can be formed from groups of touch electrode segments in a first layer of metal mesh and can be interconnected by bridges formed in a second layer of metal mesh, different from the first layer of metal mesh, in the active area of the touch screen. Multiple stripes can be interconnected in the border area and/or in the active area to form a row touch electrode. In some examples, “bars” may also include bridges in the second layer of metal mesh.

Display apparatus having a connecting electrode which crosses a bending area

A display apparatus having a connection electrode which crosses a bending area may be provided. The connection electrode may be disposed on a device substrate including a bending area between a display area and a pad area. The connection electrode may connect the display area and the pad area across the bending area. The connection electrode may have a stacked structure of the lower connecting electrode and the upper connecting electrode. A light-emitting device, an encapsulating element and a touch electrode may be sequentially stacked on the display area of the device substrate. The upper connecting electrode may include the same material as the touch electrode. Thus, in the display apparatus, the disconnection of the connection electrode due to bending stress and external impact may be reduced.

Touch sensor

A touch sensor comprises a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and an insulation layer. The first electrode layer includes first main electrode cells connected and arranged in a first direction and second auxiliary electrode cells separated from the first main electrode cells and arranged separately in a second direction on the same lower plane. The second electrode layer includes first auxiliary electrode cells arranged separately in the first direction and stacked and connected to the first main electrode cells while having the same pattern as the first main electrode cells and second main electrode cells separated from the first auxiliary electrode cells, connected and arranged in a second direction, and stacked and connected to the second auxiliary electrode cells while having the same pattern as the second auxiliary electrode cells, on the same upper plane. The insulation layer is formed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.

Virtual display touch screen diagnostic system

An automobile vehicle information system includes a touchscreen having a touchscreen capacitive sensing grid. The touchscreen displays graphics and detects touch events using the touchscreen capacitive sensing grid. A virtual touchscreen and display device is in communication with and receives the touch events detected by the touchscreen via a first digital communication link. The virtual touchscreen and display device generates graphics and maps touch coordinates to intended functions. A location of a failed virtual switch is mapped by the virtual touchscreen and display device based on screen coordinates provided by the touchscreen, the virtual touchscreen and display device generating a switch failure signal identifying the failed virtual switch. A control unit diagnoses the switch failure signal and generates a default action according to a virtual switch type.

Display device with sensor

According to an aspect, a display device with a sensor includes: a substrate including a display region and a peripheral region on a periphery of the display region; detection electrodes arranged in a row-column configuration in the display region; and detection lines coupled to the respective detection electrodes. A shape of the substrate in a plan view includes a curve of a curved portion. The detection electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode having a shape different from that of the first electrode in a plan view. The second electrode is juxtaposed with the curved portion. The detection lines each include a first line coupled to the first electrode and a second line coupled to the second electrode. The second line passes from the display region across the peripheral region and extends to a position overlapping with the second electrode in a plan view.
