MECHANISM TO PROVIDE VISUAL FEEDBACK REGARDING COMPUTING SYSTEM COMMAND GESTURES
A mechanism to provide visual feedback regarding computing system command gestures. An embodiment of an apparatus includes a sensing element to sense a presence or movement of a user of the apparatus, a processor, wherein operation of the processor includes interpretation of command gestures of a user to provide input to the apparatus; and a display screen, the apparatus to display one or more icons on the display screen, the one or more icons being related to the operation of the apparatus. The apparatus is to display visual feedback for a user of the apparatus, visual feedback including a representation of one or both hands of the user while the one or both hands are within a sensing area for the sensing element.
PROVIDING A REMOTE KEYBOARD SERVICE
The systems described herein provide a remote keyboard service for a media device on a computing device without having to invoke an application or unlock the computing device. The computing device can receive a message indicating that a text input field on the other device is selected and present a notification to the user prompting the user to invoke the virtual keyboard on the computing device to provide text input to the selected text input field. The computing device can receive user input selecting the notification and present a virtual keyboard for providing text input to the other device. The computing device can receive keyboard input from the user selecting characters and send the characters to the other device. The other device can then user the characters as text input to the selected text input field.

System and method for directly sending messages with minimal user input
A system including a direct message sending engine (DMSE) and a method for directly sending messages with minimal user input are provided. When a user invokes an input interface proximal to an input message field (IMF) of a user application, the DMSE renders a list of preconfigured messages on the input interface. When the user performs a selection action on at least one of the preconfigured messages on the input interface, the DMSE receives the selection action and in response, the DMSE transforms properties of the IMF, commits the preconfigured message(s) to the IMF, and simultaneously and directly sends the preconfigured message(s) to a recipient device. On committing the preconfigured message(s) to the IMF, the DMSE simultaneously executes a programmatic simulation of an action key press, thereby directly sending the preconfigured message(s) to the recipient device free of a manual user input.
MULTI QWERTY KEY INPUT METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a multi QWERTY key input method, and more particularly, to a multi QWERTY key input method that allows a plurality of characters to be input by a single key using the QWERTY keyboard arrangement.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to an aspect of the present invention, an information processing apparatus comprises a memory and at least one processor in communication with the memory, wherein the at least one processor is configured to perform accepting an operation on an input field included in a web content obtained via a network and controlling whether or not a first on-screen keyboard used on the information processing apparatus is displayed if the operation is accepted.
Associating a graphical element to media content item collections
Various embodiments provide for associating a collection of media items with a graphical element. For instance, a system can: generate corpus data from a set of features of a collection of media content items; determine a set of candidate graphical elements for the collection of media content items based on the corpus data and further based on a set of first mappings associating at least one graphical element and at least one n-gram; determine a set of prediction scores corresponding to the set of candidate graphical elements based on the set of features; determine a ranking for the set of candidate graphical elements based on the set of prediction stores; select a set of predicted graphical elements, from the set of candidate graphical elements, based on the ranking; and provide the set of predicted graphical elements in association with the collection of media content items.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ALTERNATE CHANNEL COMMUNICATION INITIATED THROUGH A COMMON MESSAGE THREAD
A server has a processor and a memory storing a multiple channel message thread module with instructions executed by the processor to identify when participants at client devices are actively viewing a common message thread at the same time to establish a participant viewing state. An alternate channel communication lock prompt is supplied .he client devices in response to the participant viewing state. An alternate channel communication is delivered to the client devices in response to activation of the alternate channel communication lock prompt by at least one participant,
