A control system includes a control target device communicable with an information terminal and a server system. The server system includes an issue unit issuing a registration code in accordance with an input format of the information terminal in response to an issue request of a registration code from the control target device and a reply unit replying the registration code to the control target device. The control target device presents the replied registration code. If the presented registration code is inputted to the information terminal, information including the inputted registration code and an ID of the information terminal is transmitted to the server system. If the registration code transmitted from the information terminal and an input format thereof coincide with the registration code issued from the issue unit and an input format thereof, the server system performs registration processing for associating the information terminal with the control target device.

The terminal device may, in a case where a predetermined condition which includes a memory of the terminal device storing Virtual Private Network (VPN) communication information is satisfied, execute a related process related to switching the target communication path from a first communication path to a second communication path. The first communication path may be a communication path for communicating with the function executing device via a local area network without using the Internet. The second communication path may be a communication path for communicating with the function executing device via the Internet.

A communication system may include a printer and a terminal device. The printer may, in a case where a predetermined operation is accepted, execute a communication process and, in a case where sending of start information to a server fails in the communication process, execute an output process for causing an output unit to output communication information for communicating with the server and start related information obtained by using the start information. In an information processing device, a computer executes a device list download process to download a device list from a storage server. The device list includes a plurality of pieces of identification information corresponding to respective ones of a plurality of management target devices. The computer executes a connection determination process to determine for each management target device whether or not the management target device identified by the piece of identification information is connected to the information processing device via the communication interface. The computer executes a content data download process to download content data from the storage server via the communication interface. The computer executes a transmission process to transmit, to the device that is determined to be connected to the information processing device in the connection determination process, the content data which is downloaded in the content data download process and corresponds to the target management device.
