Compositions for coloring hair including ultra-efficient high aqueous, multi-lamellar emulsion systems, and methods of making the same
This disclosure relates to a composition for coloring hair containing comprising a multi-lamellar gel emulsion, which includes a haircolor formulation, and a method of making the same. The multi-lamellar gel emulsion includes about 0.5 wt % to about 4.0 wt % of cosmetically acceptable emulsifying fats, a cosmetically acceptable non-ionic surfactant, a water-soluble suspending polymer, and at least 80 wt % of water.
TRUFFLE CONFIGURED COSMETIC ARTICLE
A truffle configured cosmetic article which includes a protective outer shell, an inner volume of cosmetic and a capsule positioned in the cosmetic containing active ingredients. An appliance is adapted to receive the article, heat and blend the article to produce a warm skin formulation which can be applied by the user. The article is produced with the use of a mold. A combination of wax and coconut oil is melted and applied to most of the interior surface of the mold, defining a volume into which a cosmetic is applied as well as a capsule additive. The article is then sealed with additional wax and coconut oil material. The article is then released and ready for use in the appliance or to be wrapped.
Gel network hair treatment compositions with reduced odor
The invention relates to a hair colouring and/or bleaching composition comprising at least a first aqueous component (i) and a second aqueous component (ii) being mixed prior to application onto hair, wherein the first component (i) or the second component (ii) or both components (i) and (ii) comprise a gel-network system consisting of multi-lamellar sheets and vesicles with d-spacing (interlayer spacing between sheets) between 5 nm and 50 nm, preferably 10 nm to 30 nm, more preferred 15 nm to 25 nm as measured by Small Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS), and the first component (i) or the second component (ii) or both comprise at least a first malodor suppressant being a compound having a distribution coefficient log P of 2 or more and a molecular weight of between 100 and 400, a method for coloring or bleaching hair, a kit comprising the above components and the use of the described hair coloring composition for colouring and/or bleaching hair with a reduced or eliminated ammonia odour.

Botanical antimicrobial composition
An antiseptic composition for use as a topical skin sanitizer or as a surface disinfectant includes Populus tremuloides Bark Extract and/or Ribes Nigum Fruit Extract in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 50 weight percent effective as a broad spectrum antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. The composition includes an aqueous medium and/or one or more oils. The amount of the aqueous medium is from 45 to about 95 weight percent. The amount of oils is from 0.03 to about 50 weight percent. The composition may also include up to about 1 weight percent of one or more soothing agents; up to about 5 weight percent of one or more thickeners; and up to about 38 weight percent of one or more emulsifiers. The composition does not contain alcohols, chlorinated compounds, iodine, or phenols.
Oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic
The oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic includes: (A) a powder, (B) a water-soluble thickener, and (C) a surfactant, wherein the content of the component (A) is 1% to 30% by mass based on the total amount of the cosmetic, the component (A) contains (A1) an N-acyl acidic amino acid-treated powder, the component (C) contains (C1) a solid nonionic surfactant having a hydrophile-lipophile balance (HLB) value of less than 7 and (C2) a surfactant having an HLB value of 7 or greater, and the mass ratio [(C1):(C2)] between the component (C1) and the component (C2) is 1.5:1 to 30:1.
SKIN MOISTURIZING COMPOSITIONS
A topical skin moisturizing composition comprising: (a) one or more phospholipids; (b) a plurality of demulcents; (c) one or more polymeric moisturizing agents; (d) one or more preservatives; (e) one or more vitamins; and (f) an aqueous vehicle. The moisturizing composition can have an osmolality in the range of 80 mOsm/kg to 500 mOsm/kg. The composition is configured for use on the face and, particularly for application on and around the delicate eye area including the eyelids.
Method of manufacture for hand-sanitizing lotion with prolonged effectiveness and resulting composition of matter
This invention is a novel method of manufacture for hand-sanitizing lotions that retains the added benefits of prolonged effectiveness while avoiding demulsification as well as the resulting product. The invention presents a novel, more simplified process comprising a lower cooking temperature and an optimized ingredient addition protocol, designed for product stability and ingredient integrity.
