An image forming apparatus that analyzes and prints a job including a plurality of documents, comprises: a management unit configured to obtain information of a page to be printed, which is designated in the job, and manage the information as a print range; and an analysis unit configured to analyze each of the plurality of documents included in the job, wherein the analysis unit calculates the number of pages of each of the plurality of documents, and based on the number of pages of each of the plurality of documents, specifies the page to be printed indicated by the print range out of the plurality of documents.

A print control apparatus for controlling a printing apparatus that calculates the amount of change between a designated color and a color measured, and is capable of executing a color accuracy verification, and a color correction includes: a job management unit that analyzes a print job and acquires a required color accuracy level, and calculates and manages a required time of the print job; an apparatus management unit that acquires a result of the color accuracy verification, predicts the degradation of the color accuracy, and calculates and manages a color correction effective time; and an output management unit that sets the output order of print jobs waiting to be output and the execution timing of the color correction, the required time of the print job, and the color correction effective time, and instructs the printing apparatus to execute the processing of the print job and the color correction.

An image forming apparatus of the present invention is an image forming apparatus that performs printing based on a print job and determines whether printing for a first print job and a second print job having been received after the first print job can be made continuously based on a progress of printing for the first print job. In a case where it is determined that the printing for the first print job and the second print job can be made continuously, print media to be used for printing for the second print job is fed to a conveyance path before completing outputting printouts for the first print job.

An image forming apparatus includes: a determination section configured to determine whether there is a possibility of generation of an image defect during a printing job for image formation on a plurality of pages based on image data included in the printing job; and a changing section configured to change an order of the pages to be subjected to image formation such that an image defect is not generated when the determination section determines that there is a possibility of generation of the image defect.

The information processing apparatus has a display interface, an operation interface, and a communication interface, and is connected with a printer through the communication interface. The computer readable instructions, when executed by the computer, causing the computer to control the display interface to display a setting screen to accept entry of print settings applicable to the printer, including a first special setting which is feasible to a first channel but infeasible to a second channel, and in response to a specific operation related to the first special setting to the setting screen through the operation interface, determine the first channel to be a processing channel to be used to cause the printer to print the image.
