POLYMER MATRIXES FOR DIFFERENT COMPOSITIONS OF MITOCHONDRIALLY TARGETED ANTIOXIDANTS

A composition containing amitochodrially-targeted antioxidant of the SkQ type and a polyacrylate, agarose, agar-agar orhyaluronic acid polymer useful for production of pharmaceutical, medicinal and cosmetic compositions having good stability. Such compositions may usefully also include lactic acid.

CROSSLINKED HA-COLLAGEN HYDROGELS AS DERMAL FILLERS

The present disclosure relates to a crosslinked macromolecular matrix comprising lysine; hyaluronic acid; and collagen; wherein the hyaluronic acid is crosslinked to the collagen by at least one endogenous amine group on the collagen and/or by at least one amine group present on the lysine.

An oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic comprising (1) water, (2) an organic UV filter, (3) a thermo-thickening polymer and (4) an anionic surfactant, wherein component (3) is (3a) a cellulosic thermo-thickening polymer or (3b) a triblock polyoxyalky-lene-based thermo-thickening polymer, and component (4) is selected from an alkyl phosphoric acid ester of 12 to 22 carbon atoms, an amide of alkylcarboxylic acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and an amino acid, and a monoester of a polycarboxylic acid and a glyceride of an alkylcarboxylic acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms.

Oral Care Compositions

Disclosed herein are oral care compositions comprising hydroxyapatite and hydroxyethylcellulose as well as methods of reducing or inhibiting enamel erosion, repairing enamel erosion damage, and/or increasing enamel microcrack resistance using these compositions.

Personal Care Compositions

Disclosed are alcohol-free personal care compositions, e.g., hand sanitizers, that effectively deposit topically active natural antibacterial compounds (e.g., carvone and thymol) on the skin. In one aspect the disclosure relates to personal care compositions comprising, essential oils (e.g., thymol and carvone), in combination with a carboxylic acid, (e.g., lactic acid), into an alcohol-free product that leads to unexpected benefits with respect to bacterial reduction, e.g., with respect to reduction of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria.

Cosmetic composition comprising glycolic acid and methods of use

The present disclosure relates to stable cosmetic compositions that include high levels of free glycolic acid. The cosmetic compositions typically include: glycolic acid and/or a salt thereof; at least one non-silicone fatty compound; at least one emulsifier; at least one water-soluble solvent; at least one silicone; and water. The cosmetic compositions are in the form of an emulsion, in particular, a water-in-oil emulsion, and typically have a low pH of below 7. Also, the cosmetic compositions have high amount of free glycolic acid, for example, at least 6 wt. % of free glycolic acid, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The cosmetic compositions are particularly useful for improving the appearance of skin. Accordingly, the instant disclosure relates to methods of treating skin, for example, improving the appearance of skin using the cosmetic compositions.
