PERSONALIZATION METHOD FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND A DATA RELEASE PROCEDURE FOR A BACKEND
A personalization method for a motor vehicle and data release method. The motor vehicle includes at least the following components: an on-board computer; a human-machine interface; a vehicle-side data interface; and an access security device for recognizing physical or electronic vehicle-specific access authorization information. The personalization method includes a first step of recognizing, by the on-board computer using the access security device, the physical and/or electronic input of the vehicle-specific access authorization information. The method also includes a second step of retrieving and storing, by the on-board computer using the vehicle-side data interface, personal data of at least one user assigned to the motor vehicle. The second step is only carried out if in the first step the vehicle-specific access authorization information is recognized. The personalization method and data release method significantly simplify the personalization process in a motor vehicle.
Process initiation
Implementations generally relate to initiating processes. In some implementations, a method includes receiving, at a server, an object from a client device. The method further includes determining an instance of a process initiation event, where the process initiation event triggers a process to initiate, and where the process initiation event is based on the object and one or more process initiation policies. The method further includes initiating the process upon the determining of the process initiation event.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DIRECTING COMMUNICATIONS
A method for improving communications in a digital collaboration environment by receiving a communication directed to a first user, determining that the first user is unavailable, in response to determining that the first user is unavailable, determining a second user based on an attribute, and notifying the second user about the communication directed to the first user.
Standardizing user interface elements
A system and method for standardizing user interface elements are presented. A first application is identified having a higher use metric than a second application, the first application including one or more user interface elements that have one or more respective parameters. The second application has one or more user interface elements that are similar to the user interface elements of the first application and has one or more respective parameters that are different than the respective parameters of the user interface elements of the first application. A determination of similarity is made between the user interface elements applications based upon at least one predetermined criterion. Based on the determination, one or more parameters of the user interface elements of the second application are modified to match one or more parameters of the first application.
VIRTUALIZATION-BASED COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITY FRAMEWORK WITH PREDICTIVE PRELOADING OF VIRTUAL MACHINES
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for virtualization-based collaborative activity framework with predictive preloading of virtual machines. A collaboration orchestration system can obtain user interaction data describing interactions with a client device. In response to determining, at least in part from the user interaction data, that the client device is predicted to access an activity, and before receiving a request to access the activity, the collaboration orchestration system can: (i) provide an indication to create a virtual machine (VM) instance configured to provide the activity; and (ii) provide an indication to load the VM instance with the activity. The collaboration orchestration system can receive a reference to the VM instance. In response to obtaining, by the collaboration orchestration system, a request to access the activity from the client device, the collaboration orchestration system can provide to the client device, the reference to the VM instance.
Method, information terminal, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium
A method includes acquiring, on a basis of a restaurant ID, menu information indicating one or more foods provided by a restaurant over a network from a second server associated with the restaurant corresponding to the restaurant ID, transmitting identification information stored in an information terminal to a first server and acquiring classification information from the first server on a basis of the identification information, generating a personalized menu for the user corresponding to the classification information on a basis of the menu information and the classification information, displaying the personalized menu through a second operation screen for accepting an order of a food to be provided by the restaurant, the second operation screen being displayed on a display of the information terminal carried by the user, and transmitting food order information indicating the food selected from the personalized menu and a seat ID to the second server.
Enhancement of application service engagement based on user behavior
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and devices that configure components of applications. A computing platform implemented using a server system may be configurable to cause determining an initial configuration of an application component that is configured to enable interactions with a user. The initial configuration is determined based on configuration parameters stored in the computing platform. The computing platform may also cause including a first instance of the application component in a webpage, the first instance being generated based on the initial configuration. The computing platform may also cause receiving a function call from the webpage, the function call being generated based on a user interaction with the webpage. The computing platform may also cause implementing a new instance of the application component responsive to the function call, the new instance comprising at least one change implemented based, at least in part, on the function call.
Computer duplication and configuration management systems and methods
In part, the disclosure relates to systems and methods to rapidly copy the computer operating system, drivers and applications from a source computer to a target computer using a duplication engine. Once the copy is complete the source computer will resume execution, and the target computer will first alter its configuration (also referred to as a role or personality) and then resume execution conforming to its new configuration as indicated by a profile stored in protected or specialized memory. The profile can be value, a file, or other memory structure and is protected in the sense that the profile (and or the region of memory where it is stored) must not be overwritten by a state transfer from the source computer to the target computer.
Systems for Platform-Independent Application Publishing to a Web Container
Provided are computer-implemented methods and systems for publishing an application to a web container. An example method for publishing an application to a web container may include establishing a channel of communication with a user device associated with an end user. The method may further include embedding a web container into a web portal associated with a plurality of applications. The method may include executing an application in a user session associated with the end user. The method may further include capturing images of a virtual screen associated with the application executed on the application server. After the capture, the method may continue with sending the images to the web container of the web portal running in a web browser of the user device. The web container may publish the images to the web browser to display the application as part of the web portal in the web browser.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGNING VOICE COMMUNICATION CHANNELS TO EMPLOYEES IN QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANTS
Systems and methods for assigning voice communication channels used by a crew of employees using communication devices are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: electronically store information, wherein the information represents associations of individual voice communication channels with one or more communication groups; receive user input that identifies employees, automatically determine sets of communication channel assignments per communication device, between communication channels and subsets of communication groups; configure communication devices according to the determined assignments; and facilitate packet-based communication, using the communication channels, between the communication devices.
