The disclosure provides methods for processing a mini program and related devices, and relates to mini program technologies in the field of computer technologies. The solution may include: accessing to a first application; determining whether the first application has a capability to be hosted by any mini program; when the first application has the capability to be hosted by any mini program, searching a target mini program matching with the first application in a mini program library, in which the mini program library includes at least one mini program; and sending mini program information of the target mini program to a second server; in which the second server is configured to provide a service of the first application and add the mini program information to the first application, and the mini program information is configured for the first application to run the target mini program.

A method and device for managing an application program are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a first edge computing platform, an application program component of the first edge computing platform and an application program component of a second edge computing platform, where the application program component of the first edge computing platform and the application program component of the second edge computing platform are application program components in a global application program; and sending the application program component of the second edge computing platform to the second edge computing platform. The second edge computing platform installs the application program component of the second edge computing platform, thereby implementing a deployment of application programs between all levels of edge computing platforms.

In one example, a method of attaching at least one application to the computing system includes identifying an application attach triggering event, and identifying at least one application based on the application attach triggering event. A method and an apparatus for running an applet are provided. The method includes: reading, in response to issuing an applet to a host application, a configuration file to determine a dynamic library referenced by the applet; loading the dynamic library referenced by the applet from a sandbox directory and/or an applet platform; and running, in response to a running instruction of the applet, a script code of the applet to call the dynamic library referenced by the applet. The method of the present disclosure may reduce the steps for a user to manually search for and open the preset program, making the process of controlling the smart device by the user through the electronic device easier.

The disclosure provides an approach for launching a virtualized application, including (i) responsive to a first event occurring prior to any event for launching the virtualized application after user logon, executing a driver to fetch a subset of the files of the virtualized application from the network storage into system memory of the computer system; and (ii) responsive to a second event corresponding to a launch of the virtualized application, instantiating an execution space for the virtualized application and loading at least one of the fetched files into the system memory for execution. The driver maintains a map between (1) a file ID of the at least one of the fetched files and (2) a value of a pointer that points to a data structure referenced when caching the at least one of the fetched files.
