Stabilized skin care compositions are described. The compositions comprise a fish oil component that yields a product of oxidation and the component is stabilized with a radical scavenger, a peroxide decomposer and hydroxylated fatty acid and/or a derivative thereof.

A hair cosmetic comprising the following components (A) and (B) at a mass ratio of component (B) to component (A), (B)/(A), of 0.7 or more and 5.0 or less:

(A) an aromatic sulfonic acid having a molecular weight of 300 or less or a salt thereof; and

(B) a cationic polymer having a cationic charge density of 4.5 meq/g or more.

Methods for producing cellulose articles having controlled release of active ingredient include dispersing pulp in aqueous direct solvent for cellulose to form a slurry. Organically modified or ion-exchange-activated phyllosilicate is homogenized in a direct solvent for cellulose with exfoliation by shearing, then mixed with the slurried pulp. A mixture of active ingredient and a lipophilic matrix material or a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion containing active ingredient is stabilized with thickener, converted into a gel-like paste, and mixed with the slurried pulp. Water is stripped from the mixture until all cellulose is dissolved, the mixture is formed into shaped articles, and dried. Exemplary active ingredients include cosmetic active ingredients, fat-soluble vitamins or apolar plant extracts. Domains of active ingredient and matrix material or emulsion containing active ingredient are present as fine divisions within the inventive articles. Exemplary shaped articles include functional fibers in knitted, woven and nonwoven fabrics; paper; foils and membranes.

A lip balm applicator product comprises upper and lower portions that are connectable together to define the applicator product being of a substantially spherical shape. A support platform is located in the lower portion and accommodates a quantity of lip balm having an arcuate surface. A lip balm comprises a composition of waxes and oils in solid form and formed to have an arcuate surface. The composition is formed to have the arcuate surface using a hot pour process. A method of manufacturing a lip balm comprises providing a receptacle having a concave arcuate surface. A lip balm material in a heated, liquefied phase is poured into the receptacle. Once poured, the heated, liquefied phase is allowed to solidify such that a surface of the solidified lip balm material has an arcuate configuration that corresponds to the concave arcuate surface of the receptacle.

A solid powder cosmetic is a solid powder cosmetic containing a powder component and an oily component, the content of the oily component is 5% to 25% by mass based on the total amount of the solid powder cosmetic, and the oily component contains: (A) a silicone compound whose viscosity at 25 C. is 4,000 to 100,000 mPa.Math.s and (B) an oil agent that is in a semi-solid state at 25 C.

The present application is directed to a cosmetic composition that can serve as a deodorant and optionally, a concealer, colorant and/or brightener. The cosmetic composition is characterized by substantial non-transferability.

An absorbent article comprising a substantially water-free skin care composition comprising from about 40% to about 90% by weight of at least one emollient derived from a renewable resource and from about 10% to about 60% by weight of at least one immobilizing agent derived from a renewable resource; wherein the skin care composition has a DSC Percent Melt at 50 C. from about 10% to about 50%.

A water-in-oil-in-water (W.sub.1/O/W.sub.2) emulsion comprising a lipid phase (O) and a water phase (W.sub.2), the lipid phase being distributed inside the water phase, wherein the lipid phase contains water droplets (W.sub.1), wherein the water content inside the lipid phase is between 10 wt % and 80 wt % relative to total weight of the lipid phase, wherein the water droplets are stabilized inside the lipid phase by an emulsifier composition, wherein the emulsifier composition comprises an Acetone-insoluble (AI) component containing a Phosphatidyl Choline (PC), a Phosphatidyl Inositol (PI), a Phosphatidyl Ethanolamine (PE) and a Phosphatidic Acid (PA), wherein PC is at most 15.5% relative to the total weight of the emulsifier composition and wherein the emulsifier composition has a phospholipid weight ratio R of at most 65%, the ratio R being defined according to Formula R(in %)=100(PC+PI+PE+PA)/AI.

The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a preservative-free facial mask and process equipment thereof. The method includes preparing distilled water with boiling point of 80-100 C., and reserving at a constant temperature; transporting the distilled water into a mixing agitator, cooling to 45-55 C.; weighing a facial mask powder into a drying mixer and mixing; turning on the mixing agitator, stirring the distilled water, adding the facial mask powder and a facial mask liquid material, stirring to form a paste liquid; importing the paste liquid into a colloid grinder, and forming a facial mask slurry; transporting into a coating machine, spreading the facial mask slurry onto surface of non-woven cloth to form facial mask slurry layer; drying the non-woven cloth, and performing instantaneous high-temperature sterilization and rolling up; slicing, moulding and packaging. The invention protects the human skin from being harmed and has a better effect without containing preservatives.

The embodiments herein provide camel hump oil based herbal compositions and methods for preparing these compositions for treatment of a plurality of diseases such as dermatological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions and hair conditions. The embodiments herein also provide a method of extraction of camel hump oil from a camel hump and a method of de-odorizing the extracted camel hump. The camel hump-oil based herbal composition comprises camel hump oil, a herbal oil extract, a curing agent and a plurality of additives. The camel hump oil based composition is topically applied.
