The present invention relates to an anhydrous, moldable, cosmetic composition comprising a blend of waxes. The wax blend includes at least four distinct waxes, each characterized by having melting temperatures of from about 60 C. to about 65 C.; from about 33 C. to about 46 C.; from about 88 C. to about 96 C.; and from about 74 C. to about 99 C., respectively. The compositions further include at least one solvent, and a high pigment load. The compositions have excellent feel and payoff characteristics.

A topical phospholipid formulation is provided that includes a phospholipid component. The phospholipid component is anionic and exhibits a net negative charge at physiologic pH. Methods of preparing such a formulation are also provided.

The result is a safe, natural formula for the whole family which is naturally tinted and made from natural ingredients. The composition has an SPF rating of 50+ and provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The inventions relate to cosmetology and are intended to increase a cosmetic effect. A mask comprises a cream-type cosmetic agent and an additional reagent, which are isolated from one another. The agent contains a water-soluble biocompatible polymer which has a mass in the range of 50,000-1,000,000 Da and is capable of entering into a cross-polymerisation reaction. The reagent consists of a substance-electrolyte solution containing multicharged ions. The mass ratio of polymer and substance-electrolyte is from 10:1 to 1:1 respectively. A method involves separately applying to the skin the cream-type agent and then the additional reagent on top.

Disclosed herein is a composition comprising a pH-sensitive microcapsule comprising (1) a shell wall comprising at least one polymer chosen from cellulose derivatives and acrylate derivatives, and at least one structuring agent chosen from shellac, ethyl cellulose, and fumed silica, and (2) at least one functional ingredient encapsulated inside the shell wall; and a carrier having a pH of less than about 7. Further disclosed herein are methods of making a composition comprising a pH-sensitive microcapsule.
