SELF-ADJUSTING SHOULDER STRAPS
One embodiment provides a shoulder strap system comprising one or more self-adjusting shoulder straps and one or more connectors for interconnecting the shoulder straps to a body garment intended to be worn by a wearer. Each shoulder strap comprises a casing including one or more fabric layers forming an exterior of the casing and an elastic segment interconnected to a webbing segment, where the elastic segment and the webbing segment are disposed inside the casing and concealed by the fabric layers. Each elastic segment inside each casing of each shoulder strap is stretchable to dynamically adjust to a physical build or a movement of the wearer, such that each shoulder strap operates independently to increase mobility and range of motion of the wearer.
Releasable, secure clothing connectors
A clothing system includes a clothing component having a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion. The first coupling portion includes a first clothing coupling element and the second coupling portion includes a second clothing coupling element. A linking element includes first and second linking coupling elements at opposite ends. Each of the first clothing coupling element, the second clothing coupling element, the first linking coupling element, and the second linking coupling element is selected from the group consisting of: (A) a clasp, comprising a loop receiving projection extending from a first longitudinally-extending edge, and a primary securing clip that is closed along a second longitudinally-extending edge; and (B) a loop adapted for sliding over said loop receiving projection. The first and second clothing coupling elements are adapted to be removably coupled to the first and second linking coupling elements, respectively.
Supportive transparent bra
An article of clothing is described. The article of clothing includes a main body having supportive cup members. The article of clothing further includes an transparent top back strap having a fastener on each end of the top back strap, and an transparent bottom back strap having a bottom back strap fastener at one end. The article of clothing further includes transparent shoulder straps, where the shoulder straps are attached to the main body portion at one end, and attached to the top back strap at an other end.
CONVERTIBLE BIKINI TOP AND APPARATUS FOR CONVERSION OF A BIKINI TOP
A bead for use with a string bikini has a body with a front face in a rear face, a first passageway extending through the body and a second passageway extending through the body. These first and second passageways intersect and the bead is collapsible so as to move the front face toward the rear face. The passageways are adapted for receiving the strings of a string bikini so as secure the strings in the position relative to each other. The bead allows for tying a string bikini in a number of unconventional ways. The present invention also provides a string bikini with such a bead, and method for using a securing a string bikini.
Adjustable width brassiere strap
An adjustable width brassiere strap for selectively providing arm support of a brassiere includes an elongate central panel having a front end and a back end; a bottom pleat affixed along a first edge of the elongate central panel; a top pleat affixed along a second edge, opposite the first edge, of elongate central panel; and wherein the pleats and said central panel are affixed, one to another, et each of the ends of the central panel. In use, the brassier strap is adjustable from an otherwise conventional dimension to a widened dimension.
GARMENTS
A garment comprising a support structure adapted to support breasts of a wearer; a first engagement feature coupled to an outer edge of the support structure on a first lateral side of the wearer and adapted to extend to a shoulder on a second lateral side of the wearer; a second engagement feature coupled to an outer edge of the support structure on a second lateral side of the wearer and adapted to extend to a shoulder on a first lateral side of the wearer, wherein, as viewed in-use, a vertical line extending along a back of the wearer intersects only the first and second engagement features, and wherein the first and second engagement features lie along best fit lines that intersect one another.
Strap adjustable brassiere
A strap adjustable brassiere has straps that are slidably engaged with a band rail extending along the wing band and/or a cup rail extending along the cup. The wing band rail extends in an incline from a side position toward the center back position and this enables the straps to be slid from one position to another along the band rail without changing the length of the straps. Likewise, the cup rail extends at an incline from a side location toward the center front location to allow the strap to slide along the cup rail without changing the length of the strap. The rail may be a bulbous extension from the wing band and the strap slider may have a cavity that extends around the rail to provide a slidable engagement.
ADAPTIVE APPAREL
A brassiere comprising a front panel comprising a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side, a first bra cup and a second bra cup, the top of the front panel coupled to a first strap and a second strap, wherein one of the first side and the second side of the front panel is a shorter side, a back panel coupled to the first shoulder strap and the second shoulder strap and at least one reopenable and reclosable lateral side closure formed by coupling a first end region of the at least one short side to a second end region of the at least one back pane at a side of the wearer, the at least one second end region of the at least one back panel comprising at least one handle region.
