Elastic strap for apparel use
A method of combining an auxiliary with a garment includes providing a garment that has an elastic strap attached to it, so that the garment and strap can cooperate to hold the garment in place on a person wearing the garment. The strap has a length with a perforation positioned along the strap length. Tension is applied to stretch the strap to enlarge the perforation, and a solid item that is tethered to an auxiliary is inserted into the stretched perforation. Releasing the tension on the strap so the enlarged perforation resumes an unenlarged size retains the tethered solid item and its tethered auxiliary attached to the strap.
Garment length adjuster
Implementations of a garment length adjuster are provided. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster comprises a frame defining an interior opening and a plurality of elongated projections having a gap between adjacent projection or a projection and side where each projection extends from a first side toward second opposite side within the interior opening. In some implementations, the garment length adjuster is used to adjust the length of a garment by routing one or more straps of the garment over thought one or more gaps and one or more projections of the garment length adjuster.
Brassiere with Dual-Use Bra Straps
An aftermarket bra strap ensemble has two adjustable straps, each having an unattached end, and a strap buckle on the other end, and two double straps, one passing through a loop of the strap buckle on the end of each of the two adjustable straps. The double straps also pass through an anchor loop at ends away from the strap buckles of the adjustable straps, and opposite ends of the double straps attach to separate anchor rings, one of which is adapted to hook to the other.
Swimsuit with left-handed opening mechanism
A swimsuit having a torso-covering section extending from a bustline to a hemline. The torso-covering section has a fastener on the front panel that extends from a first point on the bustline in a diagonal direction to a second point on the hemline. The torso-covering section is defined by front, back, left, and right panels. The point on the hemline is situated on an opposite side of the wearer than the point on the bustline. The fastener has a starting point situated on a wearer's leg cuff on one side of the wearer's body to an ending point on the wearer's bustline on the side of the body opposite to the leg cuff. For example, the fastener ending point is on the right leg cuff and the fastener starting point is on the bustline on the left side of the wearer.

Nursing bra with a back part and a breast part, which form a circumferential envelopment for the upper body in the connected state, with shoulder straps extending between the breast part and the back part and with two bra cups, each formed adapted to accommodate a female breast and each releasably connected to the shoulder straps and each having an opening that leads to the nipple of the female breast and that is on the outer side covered by an outer ply which is removable from the opening. A nursing bra of the type mentioned above that provides high functionality while having an attractive appearance is created according to the invention in that a flap is provided on the inner side of the bra cup and covers the opening.
Pressure-distributing undergarment with fastening system
This invention relates to undergarments for use in active environments, where the wearer of such an undergarment is engaged in an activity that requires accelerating movements. In some preferred embodiments, these undergarments may be sports bras constructed from a stiffened or reinforced material and may include decoupled, damping cups for supporting breast tissue, and a fastening system incorporated into a reinforced underband that allows the wearer to more easily wear and remove the undergarment without compromising underband support.

The invention comprises a device and method for converting a standard bra into a nursing bra. The device comprises an upper assembly having an upper fastener attached to a first portion of a quick release fastener, the upper fastener being configured for securely gripping a severed shoulder strap; a lower assembly comprising a lower fastener attached to a second portion of the quick release fastener, the lower fastener being configured for securely gripping a severed breast cup strap; and optionally including a sling strap having a top end and a bottom end, wherein the sling strap top end is attached to the upper assembly and wherein the sling strap bottom end is attached to a band fastener which is configured for securely gripping a bra torso band; wherein the quick release fastener first and second portions can be selectively coupled and uncoupled.
