TELEMETRY SYSTEM TO AUDIT TRANSFERS ON ELECTRONIC APPARATUS OR DEVICES FOR PAYMENT

The instant invention is related to a telemetry system with devices designed for the specific purpose of auditing transactions within a network. The network infrastructure is specifically configured to provide power to all the connected devices from a single power source. The electronic memory within each module of the system is able to store data locally to prevent data loss if the network is not available for data transfer. Furthermore, a gateway is provided to allow communication to a central database or to store data if a remote network is not available. The system may include a web portal hosted by a dedicated server designed for providing stability and a specific user interface showing only the relevant acquired data to specific users.

RETIMERS TO EXTEND A DIE-TO-DIE INTERCONNECT

A retimer includes a first port to couple to a die over a first interconnect, where the first interconnect includes a defined set of lanes and utilizes a first communication technology, and the die is located on a first package with the retimer. The retimer further includes a second port to couple to another retimer over a second interconnect, where the second interconnect utilizes a different second communication technology, and the second retimer is located on a different, second package to facilitate a longer reach communication channel.

PROGRAMMABLE IO MODULE

A method for execution by an input/output (IO) control module of an integrated circuit (IC) includes determining whether a programmable IO interface module is for dynamic or static use. The programmable IO interface module includes a configurable front-end module and a configurable back-end module. When the programmable IO interface module is for the dynamic use, determining to configure the programmable IO interface module as the dynamic use of a configuration of a plurality of configurations. The plurality of configurations includes a bidirectional interface, an input, an output, a concurrent drive and sense interface, and a concurrent transmit-receive interface. The method further includes configuring the front-end module in accordance with the configuration, configuring the back-end module in accordance with the configuration, and determining whether to change the configuration to another configuration of the plurality of configurations.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING INTRA-CHIP COMMUNICATION ERRORS IN A RECONFIGURABLE HARDWARE SYSTEM
20230144843 · 2023-05-11 ·

Systems and methods for error detection for an address channel are disclosed. The method includes generating a token, applying the token to a request at a source, and generating a first result. The request with the first result is transmitted to a destination over the address channel. A determination is made, at the destination, whether an error associated with the request has occurred. The determining whether the error has occurred includes: receiving a received request corresponding to the request over the address channel; receiving the first result with the received request; applying the token to the received request and generating a second result; comparing the first result with the second result; and transmitting a signal in response to the comparing.

Fault tolerant retry subsystem and method
09843418 · 2017-12-12 · ·

A fault-tolerant retry subsystem, method and computer program product are provided in order to automatically retry to deliver a message. In the context of a fault-tolerant retry subsystem, processing circuitry is provided to receive notification that delivery of a message to a subscriber has failed. The processing circuitry also defines a time interval at which delivery of the message is to be retried. The message is to be subjected to a plurality of retry attempts in an instance in which the delivery of the message to the subscriber continues to fail. The time interval is defined in a manner that depends upon which of the plurality of retry attempts is to be performed. As such, the time interval varies between at least some of the retry attempts. The processing circuitry causes the delivery of the message to be retried following expiration the time interval.

REMOTE KEYBOARD-VIDEO-MOUSE TECHNOLOGIES

Technologies for remote keyboard-video-mouse sessions can include failover mechanisms. In some embodiments, a system can establish a first remote keyboard-video-mouse session between a console application on the system and a first server application executed by a controller on a server. The first remote keyboard-video-mouse session can be established via a first network connection between the system and the controller. Next, the system can detect an error associated with the first remote keyboard-video-mouse session. In response to the error, the system can establish a second remote keyboard-video-mouse session between the console application and a second server application executed by an operating or a basic input/output program on the server. The second remote keyboard-video-mouse session can be established via a second network connection between the system and the second server application.

Electronic control unit for vehicle and data communication method

An electronic control unit for a vehicle includes a nonvolatile memory that is capable of erasing and writing data electrically, and capable of receiving a program to be written into the nonvolatile memory in units of a predetermined size by means of communication using a communication buffer. The electronic control unit for the vehicle uses communication buffers, the number of which is greater than the number of communication buffers used in an in-vehicle communication environment, to receive the program.

File sharing over secure connections

Systems and methods for file sharing over secure connections. An example method comprises: receiving a client request identifying a file sharing host and a file residing on the file sharing host; establishing a secure client connection; responsive to identifying a management connection with the file sharing host, transmitting an identifier and a parameter of the secure client connection via the management connection; receiving a host request to establish a secure host connection, the host request comprising the identifier of the secure client connection; establishing the secure host connection using the parameter of the secure client connection identified by the received identifier; forwarding, over the secure host connection, a first data packet received over the secure client connection, the first data packet comprising at least part of the client request; and forwarding, over the secure client connection, a second data packet received over the secure host connection, the second data packet comprising at least part of the file identified by the client request.

Techniques for maintaining communications sessions among nodes in a storage cluster system
09830238 · 2017-11-28 · ·

Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for preparing to respond to failures in performing a data access command to modify client device data in a storage cluster system. An apparatus may include a processor component of a first node coupled to a first storage device; an access component to perform a command on the first storage device; a replication component to exchange a replica of the command with the second node via a communications session formed between the first and second nodes to enable at least a partially parallel performance of the command by the first and second nodes; and a multipath component to change a state of the communications session from inactive to active to enable the exchange of the replica based on an indication of a failure within a third node that precludes performance of the command by the third node. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECONSTRUCTING A SLOT TABLE FOR NFS BASED DISTRIBUTED FILE SYSTEMS
20170310750 · 2017-10-26 ·

A method and a system for reconstructing a slot table for Network File System (NFS) based distributed file systems are provided herein. The method includes: receiving a retried request from a client at a node of the distributed file system; in a case that the retried request is of a re-enter idempotent type, processing the request again; in a case that the retried request is file state related, checking in already opened file handles if they are open with exactly same properties already exist for the particular client, and if found, returning the file handle information to the client as if it was just opened by it; and in a case that the retried request is of a non-idempotent type attempting to perform the operation again, wherein if the source file does not exist, checking the existence of the expected outcome, and replying with a success.
