Porous orthopedic materials coated with demineralized bone matrix

A biomaterial including a porous biocompatible structure having interconnected pores, wherein the pores have interior walls and are interconnected by passageways, the interior walls and passageways being coated with an osteoinductive aqueous demineralized bone extract solution, the aqueous demineralized bone extract solution including growth factors, proteins, a demineralized bone matrix and at least one of a weak acid and a guanidine hydrochloride, wherein the demineralized bone matrix is present per 100 g of the solution in an amount of from about 2 g to about 10 g.

TOPICAL CREAM-BASED COSMETIC AND WOUND HEALING FORMULATIONS AND METHODS OF USE
20230201296 · 2023-06-29 ·

A cream formulation or topical use made of a mixture of naturally occurring biologically active phytochemical compounds that possess a variety of beneficial animal and human health effects. An extract from an aqueous extraction process or other active ingredients could be used in the cream formulation. The present invention generally provides for the preparation of cream formulations containing active ingredients that contain individually, or in combination, an analgesic, natural product extracts, or a protein or proteins from the tripartite motif family of proteins (TRIM). The analgesic will provide mitigation of pain during the healing process.

CUSTOMIZED COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS, AND METHODS OF REJUVENATING AND UTILIZING CELLS AND/OR COMPONENTS THEREOF

Cosmetic formulations and compositions customized and/or personalized for rejuvenation of skin and/or hair are described. The cosmetic formulations are customized and/or personalized to include an extract and/or one or more molecular components in amounts and ratios naturally produced by rejuvenated cells or by cells modified toward rejuvenation. These cells are of skin and/or hair origin that have been reprogrammed, in which the skin and/or hair cells, having been rejuvenated and/or modified from the original cell, are initially obtained from a subject for which a customized cosmetic composition is for, or from a subject representative of a person for which a customized cosmetic composition is for. Reprogramming of the skin and/or hair cells provide rejuvenated cells, embryonic stem cell-like pluripotent cells, and/or transdifferentiated or differentiated young or younger cells that have been transdifferentiated from the rejuvenated or modified cells or differentiated from the embryonic stem cell-like pluripotent cells. Methods of selecting, preparing, and formulating the customized cosmetic products are also described.

APPLICATION OF TRANSGENIC STEM CELL-DERIVED EXOSOME IN PREPARING MEDICAMENT OR WHITENING COSMETIC

An application of a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome in preparing a medicament or whitening cosmetic is provided. In the present disclosure, miR-27b-3p is transfected into an epidermal stem cell, and a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome is harvested. It is experimentally verified that the exosome can inhibit the expression of PIK3R3 protein in melanocytes and the proliferation and migration of melanocytes; and safety experiments further demonstrate the safety of the exosome. Therefore, corresponding medicaments or cosmetics prepared from the exosome have excellent medicinal and cosmetic application prospects.

PREPARATION METHOD OF A COLLOIDAL SYSTEM OF STABILISATION AND CONTROLLED RELEASE OF ROYAL JELLY COMPONENTS FOR VARIOUS USES
20230190635 · 2023-06-22 · ·

A preparation method of a colloidal system of stabilisation and controlled release of royal jelly ingredients, wherein the system is characterized by the extraction of the components of the royal jelly and the simultaneous encapsulation in combinatorial liposome -cyclodextrin carriers for achieving controlled release, taking advantage of the special features of both carriers, namely: the ability of cyclodextrins to encapsulate polyphenols and their enhanced skin penetration ability as well as the ability of liposomes in encapsulating large amounts of components of various degrees of polarity, for local component transport and for controlled release rate.

SYSTEM FOR PROGRESSIVELY CARING FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS
20170347731 · 2017-12-07 ·

A system for maintaining eyelash extensions includes a plurality of components for use throughout the life of a set of eyelash extensions. These components may include a sealer formulated for use just after the extensions have been applied, a sealer and thickener formulated for use after eyelash extensions have started to fall out and a thickener formulated for use after the eyelash extensions have thinned considerably (i.e., few are remaining) and until the individual can have her eyelash extensions filled or replaced. Components of the system that are formulated for initial use and through the middle of the lifetime of the eyelash extensions (e.g., the sealer and the sealer/thickener) may be formulated to nourish the eyelashes and to seal each extension and the natural eyelash to which each extension is adhered. As the lifetime of the eyelash extensions progresses, components of the system may be formulated to provide eyelashes with an increased appearance of volume as more and more of the extensions fall out. Methods for maintaining the appearance of eyelash extensions throughout the lash cycle are also disclosed, and include applying compositions that are tailored for use during various phases of the lash cycle to the eyelash extensions and natural eyelashes.
