Storage system architecture with dual storage virtualization controllers and the data access method thereof
20230034049 · 2023-02-02 · ·

In a storage system architecture having two storage virtualization controllers (SVCs) that operate in an active-active mode, the corresponding relationships between storage addresses in the two buffers of the two SVCs are pre-determined. When a non-owner SVC that does not have an ownership over a logical disk (LD), receives an I/O request from a host, the non-owner SVC will inquire of the other SVC having the ownership, about associated address information, and then the non-owner SVC that does not have the ownership over the LD will perform, according to the associated address information, the I/O request from the host. Therefore, data synchronization operation for mutually backing up data between the two SVCs can be fast achieved. Also, it allows the host to issue a data access request to any one of the SVCs, thus improving performance of the storage system.

Disclosed is a base unit including a video link hub electrically connected to a user interface device to transmit a signal, a first system-on-chip (SoC) configured to provide a first infotainment function, and a processor configured to determine whether the first SoC is operating abnormally. When a second SoC is powered on, the first SoC performs authentication with respect to the second SoC, and when the processor determines that the first SoC is operating normally, the first SoC generates a first execution signal for display of a composite infotainment function, obtained by combining the first infotainment function with a second infotainment function provided by the second SoC, on the user interface device, and transmits the first execution signal to the video link hub, and the processor controls the video link hub to transmit the first execution signal to the user interface device.

Systems and methods for continuous data protection comprising storage of completed I/O requests intercepted from an I/O stream using touch points

Example embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for continuous data protection (CDP) and more specifically to an input and output (I/O) filtering framework and log management system to seek a near-zero recovery point objective (RPO).

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SYSTEM RECOVERY

A method for system recovery may be provided. The method may be implemented on a management server of a recovery system. The recovery system may further include at least one working server configured to perform one or more tasks and a global storage device configured to store a backup system or a system image file of each of the at least one working server. The management server may be connected to the at least one working server and the global storage device. The method may include, for each of the at least one working server, determining whether the working server is in an abnormal state. For each of the at least one working server, in response to determining that the working server is in an abnormal state, the method may further include assigning at least part of the global storage device to the working server and causing the working server to perform a first system recovery operation using the at least part of the global storage device.

CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS
20230083334 · 2023-03-16 ·

Example control methods and apparatus are described. One example control method includes obtaining, by a first controller, a first operating status of the first controller before a control function of the first controller and/or a control function of a second controller are/is activated. The first controller receives first indication information sent by the second controller, where the first indication information indicates a controller status of the second controller. The first controller sets a first controller mode of the first controller based on the first operating status and the first indication information. Second indication information is sent by the first controller to the second controller, so that a first controller mode of the second controller that is set by the second controller does not conflict with the first controller mode of the first controller.
