A page swap method, a storage system, and an electronic device as applied to the field of memory management technologies are provided. The method includes determining, from a least recently used LRU linked list, a to-be-swapped-out first swap-out page of a memory device, determining a second swap-out page from the LRU linked list based on the first swap-out page, and when the first swap-out page is swapped out of the memory device, swapping out the first swap-out page and the second swap-out page to a swap device.

Quantum Cache

An entangled quantum cache includes a quantum store that receives a plurality of quantum states and is configured to store and order the plurality of quantum states and to provide select ones of the stored and ordered plurality of quantum states to a quantum data output at a first desired time. A fidelity system is configured to determine a fidelity of at least some of the plurality of quantum states. A classical store is coupled to the fidelity system and configured to store classical data comprising the determined fidelity information and an index that associates particular ones of classical data with particular ones of the plurality of quantum states and to supply at least some of the classical data to a classical data output at a second desired time. A processor is connected to the classical store and determines the first time based on the index.

Reconfigurable cache hierarchy framework for the storage of FPGA bitstreams

A network-based apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the network apparatus to configure a cache manager according to a cache management policy identified in a request from a network orchestrator, the cache manager managing a cache of a multi-level cache hierarchy, the cache storing bitstreams for configuring a programmable device.

CACHE EVICTION METHODS
20230169014 · 2023-06-01 ·

One example method includes a cache eviction operation. Entries in a cache are maintained in an entry list that includes a recent list and a frequent list. When an eviction operation is initiated or triggered, timestamps of last access for the entries are adjusted by corresponding adjustment values. Candidates for eviction are identified based on the adjusted timestamps of last access. At least some of the candidates are evicted from the cache.

AUGMENTING CACHE REPLACEMENT OPERATIONS
20230169001 · 2023-06-01 ·

A method, system, and computer program product for augmenting cache replacement operations are provided. The method identifies a set of cache lines within a first cache level of a multilevel cache. A first candidate cache line is identified based on a first replacement scheme of the first cache level. A second candidate cache line is identified based on the first replacement scheme of the first cache level. A replacement cache line is selected for replacement in the first cache level. The replacement cache line is selected from the first candidate cache line and the second candidate cache line and based on the first replacement scheme of the first cache level and a second replacement scheme of a second cache level. The method removes the replacement cache line from the first cache level.

Cache management in a printing system in a virtualized computing environment

A varied least recently used (VLRU) caching technique is used to enable print data to be available at a cache of a client for printing, even after an agent performs a deletion of a hash value for the print data at a cache of the agent. The deletion of the print data (cached at the cache of the client) is postponed at the client device via the use of a waiting list, so that the cached print data can be printed at a physical printer of the client, in response to receiving a delayed print job from the agent that specifies the hash value as a result of a deduplication process performed by the agent.
