[Summary]

The present invention relates to an oral composition for animal, containing mastic resin and/or mastic essential oil as active components, especially a valid oral composition for pet animals, such as dogs and cats.

[Means for Solving the invention]

An oral composition for animal, for sterilizing a periodontal disease bacterium and an infection disease bacterium, characterized in that, said oral composition contains mastic resin as an active component, and said periodontal disease bacterium is Porphyromonas circumdentaria.

ANTIBACTERIAL PRO-COAGULANT FORMULA
20210379045 · 2021-12-09 ·

The disclosed invention provides an antibacterial pro-coagulant formula for assisting in combating the condition of bleeding gums caused by periodontal disease and gingivitis that enhances the natural healing process by assisting in the of cessation of bleeding by providing an “anti-bacterial oral healing environment” accompanied by enhanced blood flow to the affected bleeding area for more rapid blood clotting and increased blood flow to the affected area to assist the body's natural process of rebuilding healthy gum-tissue. Additionally, the disclosed invention with its antibacterial benefits, when used topically, provides for rapid surface skin blood clotting as well as increased blood circulation on the skin surface which greatly aids in the healing of external skin cuts, such as nicks from shaving or against inflammation of the skin from acne vulgaris. Continued use of the product orally and topically has proven to provide a beneficial stability to overall oral and skin health, especially useful in promoting healing in high-bacterial environments, such as is common in a person's mouth or on their face. Further described is a method of promoting hair follicle growth by application of the presented invention to a human scalp to promote blood flow to the scalp through below skin surface blood vessel dilation and below surface anti-bacterial cleansing of the scalp effecting an unrestricted and healthy skin tissue environment conducive to promoting hair follicle re-growth.

Arginine silicate for periodontal disease
11191735 · 2021-12-07 · ·

Methods for treating and/or preventing periodontal disease with arginine silicate are disclosed. Methods may include the steps of identifying an individual in need of treatment for, or in need of prevention of, periodontal disease and administering an effective amount of an arginine-silicate complex to said individual. Arginine silicate may also be used to ameliorate one or more symptoms of periodontal disease. In some aspects, arginine silicate may be used to restore gum health and/or stop or reverse recession of the gums and/or the loss of gum tissue in the oral cavity.

Oral gelling liquid formulations

A gelling liquid formulation comprising a thermoresponsive hydrogel modified with an agent that reduces the alters the native gelation point of the thermoresponsive hydrogel and methods for making and using the same.

TRIGGERABLE HYDROGEL COMPOSITIONS AND RELATED METHODS

Triggerable hydrogel compositions and related methods are generally disclosed. In some embodiments, the compositions and related methods may be used for medical-related or other applications. For example, the compositions and methods described herein may be useful, for example, in biomedical applications such as articles for (e.g., gastric) retention. In some embodiments, methods for deploying and/or removing an article comprising the composition, such as an article for gastric retention, are provided. The article and/or composition may be removed internally from a subject by, for example, introducing at least one reagent (e.g., one reagent, two reagents) such that at least a portion of the composition disassociates. In certain embodiments, the composition comprises a polymer network comprising two or more interpenetrating polymers. In some cases, a first polymer comprises a first cross-link moiety configured to dissociate upon interaction with a reagent. For example, the composition may be administered to a subject such that it is retained at a location internal (e.g., gastric) to the subject. In some embodiments, a reagent may be administered to the subject (e.g., the subject drinks the reagent) such that the reagent interacts with the composition and at least a first cross-link moiety disassociates. In some embodiments, upon disassociation of one or more cross-link moieties of the polymer network, the composition is no longer retained at the location internal to the subject (e.g., dissociates such that it exits the subject). In some cases, the polymer network is configured (e.g., upon administration of the composition to a subject) such that the composition is retained at the location internal to the subject for greater than or equal to 24 hours.

COMPOSITION FOR ADMINISTERING AND RELEASING OLIGONUCLEOTIDES

The present invention relates to a composition comprising an oligonucleotide, at least two copolymers with at least two of the copolymers being Poloxamer 188 and Poloxamer 407, and a medium. The present invention further relates to a method for preparing said composition.

IMMUNOMODULATORY, ORAL MICROBIOME ALTERING AND TISSUE REGENERATIVE ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE IN THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF PERIODONTAL AND PERI-IMPLANT DISEASES
20230270761 · 2023-08-31 ·

Therapeutic hydrogels in nonsurgical techniques to promote healing and regeneration of tissues whose structure and functions have been diminished due to chronic inflammatory disorders. More particularly, providing therapeutic and regenerative hydrogel compositions and their nonsurgical delivery to periodontal treatment sites to treat periodontal and peri-implant diseases. One delivery technique involves the injection of a sterile therapeutic biomimetic hyaluronic acid hydrogel tethered to at least one host modulating agent, such as tetrahydrocurcuminoids, THC, and at least one additional tissue regenerative agent, into the gingival connective tissue proper. The host modulating agent potentiates the periodontal tissue regeneration at the periodontal treatment site, while the biomimetic hyaluronic acid hydrogel serves in a dual capacity as a drug, a tissue regenerative agent carrier and as a biodegradable matrix around which the new connective tissue regenerates. Oral care gel and paste compositions may be used in a synergistic home-based oral care regimen.

Injectable bifunctional hydrogel with antibacterial activity as well as the preparative method and the use thereof
20220152076 · 2022-05-19 ·

An injectable bifunctional hydrogel has antibacterial activity. The bifunctional hydrogel is a hydrogel prepared by dissolving nucleoside analogues in a solvent. The nucleoside analog has a structure of formula I. It can be a candidate drug for the local injection treatment of periodontal disease, and it also has potential application prospects in the minimally invasive treatment of craniofacial bone tissue defects.
