COLLECTION OF GUEST STATUS
The present disclosure provides new and innovative methods and systems for guest status collection in a virtual environment. An example method includes accessing a hypervisor media library and booting an information collection guest from the hypervisor media library. The method may also include exposing the information collection guest to a memory of a virtual machine, detecting a first guest status of the virtual machine, generating an information message based on the first guest status, and sending the information message to a message display agent.
System and method for querying a data repository
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for querying data in a data repository. According to a first aspect, this disclosure describes a method of querying a database, comprising: receiving, at a computing device, a plurality of keywords; determining, by the computer device, a plurality of datasets relating to the keywords; identifying, by the computer device, metadata for the plurality of datasets indicating a relationship between the datasets by examining an ontology associated with the datasets; providing, by the computer device, one or more suggested database queries in natural language form, the one or more suggested database queries constructed based on the plurality of keywords and the metadata; receiving, by the computing device, a selection of the one or more suggested database queries; and constructing, by the computer device, an object view for the plurality of datasets based on the selected query and the metadata.
Assisted query building and data retrieval
A generic query having a dynamic query parameter may be executed for a specified process. One or more expected parameters for the query are determined based on the dynamic query parameter and the process, where the one or more expected parameters are tagged to the dynamic query parameter for the process. One or more measured parameters are accessed based on the one or more expected parameters from one or more databases accessible over a network. The one or more measured parameters are returned responsive to the query.
System for Resource Service Provider
In one embodiment, a system, is provided to take not just a person's time and location into consideration, but also has knowledge of and takes into account their availability, their preferences, their schedule, their purpose for being at their current location, and/or their next goal or stop. One embodiment is able to take into account a real-time view of supplier inventory and deduce and make available much better-adapted offerings and support for that person's travels and endeavors. In one embodiment, having an understanding of a rate of conversion and its relation to traffic and weather patterns allows service providers to make more accurate predictions about various items, including but not limited to, conversion rates, offer types, offer upgrades, traffic etc. In yet another aspect of the invention, the information collected from many travelers, and also information collected from airlines and weather observers, etc., can be used to forecast inventory requirements, such as obtaining and preparing fresh food and pulling from storage chilled or frozen food, as well as man power or staffing level requirements, to meet projected demands.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USER INTERFACE ADAPTATION FOR PER-USER METRICS
A method includes storing a parameter related to a user, storing descriptive data for multiple identifiers, and indexing multiple events. Each event corresponds to a physical object supplied to a user on behalf of an entity. The method includes identifying a first set of identifiers based on commonality among the descriptive data. The method includes training a machine learning model for the first set of identifiers based on event data from within a predetermined epoch. The method includes receiving an indication of a selected identifier and determining a first intake metric of the selected identifiers using the machine learning model. The method includes determining a second intake metric of the selected identifier and the parameter and transforming the user interface according to the first and second intake metrics. The first intake metric represents an amount of resources expected to be received during a second epoch subsequent to the predetermined epoch.
VOICE QUERY REFINEMENT TO EMBED CONTEXT IN A VOICE QUERY
Systems and methods are described for providing contextual search results. The system may receive a search query during presentation of a video. If the query is ambiguous, the system accesses some of the frames of the video. The frames are analyzed to identify a performed action depicted in the frames. The system retrieves a keyword related to the identified action.
The ambiguous query is augmented with the keyword. The augmented search query is used to search for and output relevant search results.
Systems and methods for generating document score adjustments
Disclosed is a computer-implemented method for determining a score adjustment for a search document, comprising determining a first attractiveness model of a first document from one or more documents based on one or more user interactions associated with the first document; determining a second attractiveness model of a second document from one or more documents based on one or more user interactions associated with the second document; determining one or more pairwise comparisons of documents based on the first and second attractiveness models of the first and second documents; training an adjustment model based on the pairwise comparisons of documents; and inputting the search document into the adjustment model to determine the score adjustment.
Determining whether a user in a social network is an authority on a topic
A method involving obtaining a first plurality of topic groups (TGs), each having a membership of accounts, identifying a first plurality of accounts as authorities for an expertise topic, obtaining a second plurality of TGs with a number of accounts as members, wherein the first plurality of TGs comprises the second plurality of TGs, identifying a first frequent account which is a member in at least one of the second plurality of TGs, adding the first frequent account to the authorities of the expertise topic to obtain a second plurality of accounts as the authorities of the expertise topic, determining a third plurality of TGs in which a second number of accounts from the second plurality of accounts are members, determining that another frequent account is a member in one of the third plurality of TGs, and obtaining a ranking of accounts that are an authority on the expertise topic.
Data discovery solution for data curation
Disclosed are methods and systems for a data discovery solution which harnesses the power of crowdsourcing to improve automated data curation. This is done in two complimentary ways: (a) large scale collective curation through anonymized multi-tenancy, and (b) and through internet scale matching and validation gaming platform using mobile application game. The result is the most extensive library of semantic-technical mappings of the enterprise data, which are immediately at hand to provide a fast, easy and a good understanding of the enterprise data. The data discovery solution forms a gateway for governing and unlocking value from big data.
MANAGING ENGAGEMENT METHODS OF A DIGITAL ASSISTANT WHILE COMMUNICATING WITH A USER OF THE DIGITAL ASSISTANT
A method for interacting by a digital assistant with a user of the digital assistant, comprising: determining by the digital assistant an action to be executed by the digital assistant, wherein the action is determined based on at least a sensed current state of the user and a sensed current state of an environment near the user; selecting an engagement method from a plurality of engagement methods based on the current state of the user, the current state of an environment near the user, and the selected action; generating a customized plan for executing the selected action based on at least the selected engagement method; and executing the generated plan by employing an input/output (I/O) device on which the digital assistant is executing.
