AUTOMATICALLY DRAWING INFOGRAPHICS FOR STATISTICAL DATA BASED ON A DATA MODEL
A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for automatically drawing infographics. Variables of a dataset are received from a computing device that were selected by the user of the computing device. For those selected variables that are associated with a data model, a procedure to draw infographics for variables assigned or not assigned the role of a target using the data model associated with each of the variables assigned or not assigned the role of target, respectively, is implemented. Alternatively, if the selected variables are not associated with a data model, then such variables are assigned a level of measurement as well as assigned the role of input. Such assignments become the data model which, along with the metadata (e.g., values of the variable) obtained by parsing the original data, are used to implement the procedure to draw infographics for variables not assigned the role of a target.
System and method for proposing annotations
Systems, methods and computer program code to propose annotations are provided which include identifying an input, applying a grouping model to the input to predict at least a first grouping concept associated with the input, comparing the at least first grouping concept to a set of relationship data to select at least a first ranking model, applying the at least first ranking model to the input to predict at least a first ranking concept associated with the input, and causing a user interface to display the input, the at least first grouping concept and the at least first ranking concept to a user as proposed annotations of the input.
INTERACTIVE RESEARCH ASSISTANT - LIFE SCIENCE
A research assistant system may include a research tool and components and a user interface to discover and evidence answers to complex research questions. The research tools may include components to iteratively perform steps in a research process, including searching, analyzing, connecting, aggregating, synthesizing, and chaining together evidence from a diverse set of knowledge sources. The system may receive an input query and perform a semantic search for key concepts in a text corpus. A semantic parser may interpret the search results. The system may aggregate and synthesize information from interpreted results. The system may rank and score the aggregated results data and present data on the user interface. The user interface may include prompts to iteratively guide user input to explore evidentiary chains and connect research concepts to produce research results annotated by evidence passages.
Applied artificial intelligence technology for narrative generation using an invocable analysis service
Disclosed herein are example embodiments of an improved narrative generation system where an analysis service that executes data analysis logic that supports story generation is segregated from an authoring service that executes authoring logic for story generation through an interface. Accordingly, when the authoring service needs analysis from the analysis service, it can invoke the analysis service through the interface. By exposing the analysis service to the authoring service through the shared interface, the details of the logic underlying the analysis service are shielded from the authoring service (and vice versa where the details of the authoring service are shielded from the analysis service). Through parameterization of operating variables, the analysis service can thus be designed as a generalized data analysis service that can operate in a number of different content verticals with respect to a variety of different story types.
Compatibility-based feature management for data prep applications
A method executes at a computing device having a display, processors, and memory. The device displays a user interface for a data preparation application, including icons in a flow element palette, each icon representing a parameterized operation that can be inserted into data preparation flows in a flow pane of the user interface. A user places icons into the flow pane, visually defining flow elements for a flow that extracts data from selected data sources, transforms the extracted data, and exports the transformed data. The device retrieves the version number of a corresponding server application running on a server. Using a feature matrix, the device determines which flow elements are not supported by the data prep server application according to the version number. When there are flow elements not supported by the data prep server application running on the server, the device indicates this to the user.
System and method for aggregation and graduated visualization of user generated social post on a social mapping network
Systems and methods for receiving information associated with posts to a social network are described. Posts may be associated with a location. Symbols, portions or posts, or multiple symbols may be shown on a client device in an area of a map indicating a location associated with a post. Posts may be represented by symbols, which may include shapes, and such shapes may include emojis. An amount of symbols, posts, or portions of posts displayed on a client device may be determined at least in part by an area of a map displayed on a client device.
DATA EXTRACTION FROM A MULTIDIMENSIONAL DATA STRUCTURE
In some implementations, a device may identify respective sets of unique values for multiple dimensions of a multidimensional data structure. The device may identify a plurality of subsets of permutations of a set of permutations of the unique values. The plurality of subsets of permutations are to be processed in parallel. The device may obtain, based on processing the plurality of subsets of permutations in parallel, respective data associated with each permutation of the plurality of subsets of permutations. The data for a permutation, of the plurality of subsets of permutations, is obtained based on respective unique values for the permutation that are determined independently of another permutation of the plurality of subsets of permutations.
TECHNIQUES FOR MANAGING A COLLABORATIVE DATA MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY PLATFORM
Techniques for managing a collaborative data management and deployment platform and generating customizable blueprints for a data deployment program are disclosed. Techniques include receiving one or more parameters for generating the blueprint for the program, receiving a selection of one or more blueprint components satisfying the one or more parameters, and generating the blueprint template as a function of the selected components. In addition, one or more data sets for use in a program are obtained. A selection of the blueprint template is received. Objects of the selected blueprint are mapped to the one or more data sets. The selected blueprint is mapped to one or more third-party data channels.
SYSTEM FOR MANAGING DATABASE HAVING RECORDS WITH VARYING NUMBER OF FIELDS
A system for managing a database having records with a varying number of fields can include a processor and a memory. The memory can store a determination module and an allocation module. The determination module can include instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to determine a category of content in a first field of a record of the database. The allocation module can include instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to cause, in response to the category being: (1) a first category, a count of other fields of the record to be a first number and (2) a second category, the count of the other fields of the record to be a second number. The system can allocate a group of memory cells for each field included in a corresponding record of the database, rather than for each field of each record.
System and Method for Capturing, Preserving, and Representing Human Experiences and Personality Through a Digital Interface
A system and method to capture and interact with a comprehensive digital record of an individual's biographical history and produce a synthetic model of their personality. The captured biographical history is a detailed record of this individual's actions, interactions, and experiences over a period which may span decades of their lifetime. The biographical history is indexed by areas of data variability and neural network confidence variability to identify points of likely human interest. A synthetic personality model is generated as a representation of the individual's personality structure, biases, sentiments, and traits. The synthetic personality can be interacted with through a digital interface and demonstrates the interaction patterns, triggers, and habits of the original individual. The functioning and the performance of the system over an individual's lifespan are optimized through data synthesis and disposition.
