MULTI-DIMENSIONAL CLUSTERING AND CORRELATION WITH INTERACTIVE USER INTERFACE DESIGN

Techniques for implementing user interfaces, systems, and processes for multidimensional clustering and analysis are described herein. In one aspect, an application or cloud service receives a request to cluster a set of records where the request identifies a first set of one or more dimensions to use for clustering and a second set of one or more dimensions to analyze for correlation patterns. Responsive to receiving the request to cluster the set of records, the system generates clusters based at least in part on variances in the first set of one or more dimensions, wherein each cluster includes at least one record from the set of records. The system may generate, for each respective cluster, an analytic result that identifies how strongly the second set of one or more dimensions correlate to the respective cluster. The system may present the clusters and analytic results for further processing.

Automatic visualization and explanation of feature learning output from a relational database for predictive modelling

Embodiments for automatic visualization and explanation of feature learning output for predictive modeling in a computing environment by a processor. A degree of importance score may be assigned to one or more features from a relational database according to the machine learning model. A visualization graph of one or more join paths and the one or more features with the degree of importance score to predict a target variable may be generated.

Effective materialization strategy utilizing statistical set-theoretic approach for generation of multi-interval multi-column histogram and histograms in general

Various aspects of the subject technology relate to methods, systems, and machine-readable media for generating histograms according to a set-theoretic approach. The method includes receiving a command to generate at least one histogram from selected data, the selected data comprising a plurality of column groups. The method also includes identifying a superset from the plurality of column groups. The method also includes materializing, in a memory, a superset multi-column group for the superset. The method also includes identifying at least one subset of the superset from the plurality of column groups, the at least one subset comprising at least one column group. The method also includes processing the at least one subset of the superset to form a grouped resultset. The method also includes generating the at least one histogram for the grouped resultset of the at least one subset of the superset.

Intelligent grouping of travel data for review through a user interface

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for intelligent grouping of travel data for review through a user interface. In one embodiment, a method for providing grouped travel data to a user interface of an application, comprises: receiving a plurality of trip records from an application running on a remote device; providing a first subset of the plurality of trip records to a prediction model; providing a second subset of the plurality of trip records to a model training module; receiving labels for each trip record of the first subset of the plurality of trip records from the prediction model; grouping the first subset of the plurality of trip records based on the received labels; and transmitting the grouped first subset of the plurality of trip records to the application running on the remote device.

METHOD OF GRAPH MODELING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS WITH AUTHOR VERIFICATION

A method for generating a graphical model of a plurality of electronic documents establishes connections between individual electronic documents with common authorship even if the spelling of the name of the author varies amongst the documents, for instance, due to the use of abbreviations, pseudonyms, misspellings, and the like. The graphical model is generated by ingesting data from the electronic documents and constructing a base graphical model using the processed data. Thereafter, as part of a disambiguation step, similar authors amongst the plurality of electronic documents are identified and clustered to yield an author similarity graph, which is preferably refined over time. A degree of belief, or similarity inference, is then calculated for documents determined to have common authorship and, in turn, incorporated into the base graphical model. As a result, an inference of the accuracy of linked information in the graphical model can be established.

DYNAMIC ITERATION OF GROUPED COMPONENTS IN A TEMPLATE

Methods and systems for improved template compilation are disclosed. The system can enable repeating the content of grouped components for each entry in a designated data array from a custom database. With the same design style, each of the iterated components can contain individually different content based on the custom variables in the array. The system can improve efficiency in creating the customized email template. Furthermore, by relying on the custom databases, the system can optimize the template customization process to create personalized templates that match the customer's interests as wells as the business's goals.

Search system and search method for finding new relationships between material property parameters

To effectively utilize knowledge of relationship information among material property parameters the users tangibly and intangibly have in a search system that generates a graph in which material property parameters are nodes and relationships of the material property parameters are edges from a database of material property parameter pairs whose relationships are already known, and conducts a path search in the generated graph. A search system, which includes the database, a graph generator that generates the graph, and a graph searcher searches the graph, further includes a user interface and a user information storage unit corresponding to each user. The user conducts a search unique to the user by inputting relationship information between the material property parameters that he has to the user information storage unit and integrating the relationship information into the above graph. Further, by accumulating a history of searches conducted by the user in the user information storage unit and analyzing the search history, the user can be provided with new knowledge.

System and method for generating and managing pseudo data fields in CRM

Systems and methods for generating a pseudo data field in a CRM system to allow end users to generate and manage pseudo data fields for account objects in the CRM system, which may behave like actual data fields of account objects in the CRM system but live outside the CRM account. The present invention uses a data model that includes two objects to allow end users to generate and manage the pseudo data fields. One of the objects is pseudo data field configuration object, which may be used to configure the pseudo data fields that should be made available to end users. The other object is pseudo data field object which may be used to record user responses or values users use to populate the pseudo data field.
