Reading difficulty level based resource recommendation

Examples associated with reading difficulty level based resource recommendation are disclosed. One example may involve instructions stored on a computer readable medium. The instructions, when executed on a computer, may cause the computer to obtain a set of candidate resources related to a source document. The candidate resources may be obtained based on content extracted from the source document. The instructions may also cause the computer to identify reading difficulty levels of members of the set of candidate resources. The instructions may also cause the computer to recommend a selected candidate resource to a user. The selected candidate resource may be recommended based on subject matter similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document. The selected candidate resource may also be recommended based on reading difficulty level similarity between the selected candidate resource and the source document.

User interface for recommended alternative search queries

Alternative search queries are provided by: determining alternative search paths for terms in a current search query; receiving a user selection of one or more terms in the current search query; providing a graphical display of one or more alternative search paths for the selected terms; receiving a user selection of at least a portion of one of the alternative search paths to be a new search query; and displaying search results for the new search query. The new search query may then become the current search query, and the determining of the alternative search paths, the receiving of the user selection of the one or more terms in the current search query, and the providing of the graphical display of alternative search paths for the selected terms are performed for the new search query as the current search query.

HIERARCHICAL INFORMATION VISUALIZER AND EDITOR

Techniques are disclosed for generating a visualization of an organized hierarchy structure. An editor tool may receive, via a user interface displaying a graphical representation of a tree structure of a plurality of elements, a selection of an element. The tree structure is generated from a plurality of subtrees based on reference data associated with the underlying organized hierarchy structure. The editor tool identifies one or more hierarchy paths in the tree structure associated with the selected element. A visualization of the identified hierarchy paths is generated and presented via the user interface.

Template-based faceted search experience

Disclosed herein are enterprise applications and platforms that manage databases containing documents and may employ search systems that allow users to retrieve documents based on queries. The search systems may be configured to retrieve data from several different data sources and may be associated with many of the applications. Furthermore, the search systems may include a faceted interface based on database or document attributes for further search refinement. The faceted interface may be template-based and modular, allowing reconfiguration of the interfaces without substantial rewriting of the application code base.

PROVIDING SUGGESTED VOICE-BASED ACTION QUERIES

Technology of the disclosure may facilitate user discovery of various voice-based action queries that can be spoken to initiate computer-based actions, such as voice-based action queries that can be provided as spoken input to a computing device to initiate computer-based actions that are particularized to content being viewed or otherwise consumed by the user on the computing device. Some implementations are generally directed to determining, in view of content recently viewed by a user on a computing device, at least one suggested voice-based action query for presentation via the computing device. Some implementations are additionally or alternatively generally directed to receiving at least one suggested voice-based action query at a computing device and providing the suggested voice-based action query as a suggestion in response to input to initiate providing of a voice-based query via the computing device.

Method and system for intelligently suggesting tags for documents

A method and system for providing keyword suggestions to a user of a document during use of the document, the keyword suggestions being made to enable selection of the keywords as tags for the document. The method includes examining contents of a document, identifying a keyword related to the document based at least in part on the contents of the document, displaying the keyword on a user interface element relating to the document to enable a user to choose to add the keyword as a tag associated with the document, receiving an input indicating a user's approval of the keyword, and upon receiving the input, associating the keyword with the document as a tag.

METHOD OF DETERMINING DATA SET MEMBERSHIP AND DELIVERY

One example method includes receiving a user request for a data set, and the user request includes information concerning user requirements for the data set, identifying data records that satisfy one or more of the user requirements, calculating a respective relative value for each of the data records, and the relative values are based in part on the user requirements, and providing access controls for each data record that enable tracing of accesses of the data record.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING RELEVANT SEARCH RESULTS

A method for determining relevant search results includes provided a searchable database containing a plurality of source documents with corresponding citations. The source documents and the corresponding citations have keywords. The keywords are extracted from the source documents and citations using a parser and are stored in the searchable database in association with the source documents and citations. The citations are linked to their source documents in a graph databased based upon the keywords shared between them.

Digital assistant query intent recommendation generation

Systems and methods are provided for digital assistant configuration and functionality. For example, systems and methods provide for receiving a query from a user via a computing device, processing language in the query to identify a plurality of elements associated with the query, and analyzing the plurality of elements associated with the query to determine an intent of the query by mapping the plurality of elements associated with the query to a list of predetermined intents by comparing the plurality of elements associated with the query to each intent in the list of predetermined intents to generate a score for each intent in the list of predetermined intents. Systems and methods further provide for determining a subset of the predetermined intents based on the score for each intent in the list of predetermined intents, and providing recommendations related to the query based on the subset of predetermined intents.

Content Management Systems for Providing Automated Generation of Content Suggestions

Systems for automatically suggesting content items to an author of a digital page so that they can be added to the page. One embodiment comprises a system having a page editor that launches a component browser to enable viewing of content items stored in a repository. A web content management server extracts textual information from a digital page that is open for editing and analyzes the information to identify words indicative of the page's subject matter. The system generates a query using the identified words and a search engine searches the repository for items associated with the identified words. The content items identified by the search are displayed by the component browser and are selectable to add particular suggested content items to the page.
