CHARACTER INPUT METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND MEDIUM
The present application provides a character input method and apparatus, an electronic device and a medium. The method includes: acquiring and displaying at least one input stroke; retrieving and displaying candidate components containing the at least one input stroke; in response to a component selection instruction to select a target component from the candidate components, displaying the target component and at least one position selection button for selecting a position of the target component; in response to a position selection instruction to select the position of the target component, acquiring a target position corresponding to the position selection instruction; retrieving and displaying candidate characters with the target component at the target position; and in response to a character selection instruction to select a target character from the candidate characters, acquiring the target character.
Visualization of reputation ratings
In one embodiment, a system and method is illustrated including receiving a feedback request identifying a particular user, retrieving a feedback entry in response to the feedback request, the feedback entry containing a first term, building a scoring model based, in part, upon a term frequency count denoting a frequency with which the first term appears in a searchable data structure, mapping the first term to a graphical illustration based upon a second term associated with the graphical illustration such that the graphical illustration may be used to represent the second term, and generating a feedback page containing the first term and the graphical illustration. The method may include assigning a value to the first term so as to identify the first term, assigning the first term to the searchable data structure, and extracting the first term from the searchable data structure based, in part, upon an extraction rule.
Personalized gesture recognition for user interaction with assistant systems
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user request from a first user from a client system associated with a first user, wherein the user request comprise a gesture-input from the first user and a speech-input from the first user, determining an intent corresponding to the user request based on the gesture-input by a personalized gesture-classification model associated with the first user, executing one or more tasks based on the determined intent and the speech-input, and sending instructions for presenting execution results of the one or more tasks to the client system responsive the user request.
Custom interactions with visualizations
In an example, a method to interact with a visualization of data may include mapping at least some data of a data source to a contract such that the contract is satisfied. The method may also include displaying a visualization of the at least some data of the data source based on the contract. The displayed visualization includes multiple graphical objects that graphically represent the at least some data of the data source. The method may also include receiving input effective to alter a first graphical object of the graphical objects. The method may also include determining that the alteration to the first graphical object implicates a change to a first data object of the at least some data of the data source.
Processing Multimodal User Input for Assistant Systems
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user input based on a plurality of modalities at the client system, wherein at least one of the modalities of the user input is a visual modality, determining one or more subjects and one or more attributes associated with the one or more subjects, respectively, based on the visual modality of the user input, resolving one or more entities corresponding to the one or more subjects based on the determined one or more attributes, and presenting a communication content at the client system responsive to the user input, wherein the communication content comprises information associated with executing results of one or more tasks corresponding to the one or more resolved entities.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING ENHANCED DOCUMENTS FOR PERFECT AUTOMATED PARSING
The disclosed enhanced document creation and parsing systems deal with enhanced documents that allow for the presentation of document content in a preferred visual manner, while ensuring that the document content can be captured accurately by an automated parser with nothing being discarded or misrepresented. The enhanced document creation system may create an enhanced document by encoding document content in accordance with a defined schema, optionally encrypting the resulting structured data into an encrypted byte string, and embedding the encrypted byte string as non-visible metadata in a rendered document. The resulting enhanced document can be completely and accurately parsed by an enhanced document parsing system that is capable of extracting, decrypting and decoding the embedded document metadata.

DOCUMENT SEARCH METHOD, DOCUMENT SEARCH SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A similar document is retrieved in units of blocks of a document. Highly accurate document search is performed. A specific text block is searched for in a plurality of text blocks created by dividing each of a plurality of search target documents. A first search text block, which is a part of a search document, is prepared; full-text search is performed by using at least some of the plurality of text blocks as a first target and using the first search text block as a search criterion to calculate first relevance of each text block included in the first target to the first search text block; a second target is determined from the first target depending on a level of the first relevance; first similarities of each sentence included in the first search text block to sentences included in the second target are calculated; and at least one text block similar to the first search text block is retrieved using the first similarities.
CROSS-CONTEXT NATURAL LANGUAGE MODEL GENERATION
Provided is a method including obtaining a corpus and an associated set of domain indicators. The method includes learning a set of vectors in an embedding space based on n-grams of the corpus. The method includes updating ontology graphs comprising a set of vertices and edges associating the set of vertices with each other. The method also includes determining a vector cluster using hierarchical clustering based on distances of the set of vectors with respect to each other in the embedding space and determining a hierarchy of the ontology graphs based on a set of domain indicators of a respective set of vertices corresponding to vectors of the vector cluster. The method also includes updating an index based on the ontology graphs.
Methods and systems for querying data within a geographical boundary using a query tool
A method comprises receiving a request comprising parameters related to a data query and location information describing a geographic boundary, wherein the parameters indicate one or more types of data queried by a user of the workstation, communicating, by the export service application, with the geospatial database, to determine a format of data stored at the geospatial database, converting, by the export service application, a format of the parameters and the geographic boundary received in the request into query parameters that are formatted to be compatible with the geospatial database based on the format of data stored at the geospatial database, generating, by the export service application, a database query comprising the query parameters, wherein the database query is for retrieving data, from the geospatial database, that matches the parameters received in the request and is associated with a location within the geographic boundary.
