SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY IDENTIFYING KEY DIALOGUES IN A MEDIA

A system and a method for automatically identifying key dialogues in media is disclosed herein. In the method disclosed herein, the key dialogues engine receives the media asset and extract transcript data and supplementary data. The key dialogues engine processes the transcript data into a plurality of transcript data elements and associate the transcript data elements with respective data elements selected from the supplementary data. The key dialogues engine identifies one or more key dialogues from the associated transcript data elements based on configurable criteria, in operable communication with one or more of a plurality of data sources, wherein the configurable criteria comprises one or more of repetitive keywords, rhyming words, audio signal levels, matching keywords, text-based sentiments, dialogue similarity, repetitive dialogues, signature dialogues, entry dialogues recited by actors comprising protagonists and antagonists, faces of the actors, celebrity detection, image labels, and vector similarity scores.

Automatic localization of acceleration in edge computing environments

Methods, apparatus, systems and machine-readable storage media of an edge computing device which is enabled to access and select the use of local or remote acceleration resources for edge computing processing is disclosed. In an example, an edge computing device obtains first telemetry information that indicates availability of local acceleration circuitry to execute a function, and obtains second telemetry that indicates availability of a remote acceleration function to execute the function. An estimated time (and cost or other identifiable or estimateable considerations) to execute the function at the respective location is identified. The use of the local acceleration circuitry or the remote acceleration resource is selected based on the estimated time and other appropriate factors in relation to a service level agreement.

Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for generating looped video clips are provided. A still image may be received. The still image may be analyzed to generate a series of images. The series of images may include at least first, middle and last images. The first image may be substantially visually similar to the last image, and the middle image may be visually different from the first and last images. The series of images may be provided. Playing the series of images in a video clip that starts with the first image and finishes with the last image, and repeating the video clip from the first image immediately after completing the playing of the video clip with the last image may create visually smooth transaction in which the transition from the last image to the first image is visually indistinguishable from the transactions between frames within the video clip.
