The present application is at least directed to a control system to cool cooled objects and to keep cooled objects cool without cooling an entire storage space for cooled objects. The control system includes containers, which hold cooled objects and a TES member to cool the cooled objects. The control system is configured to judge if it is time to replace the TES member based on a combination of cooled objects, stored in the containers to keep cool, and the TES member. The control system also is configured to notify if it is time to replace the TES member based upon the judging step.

Flexible time-temperature sensing label system

A flexible sensor label including a reservoir chamber configured to store an activation medium. The flexible sensor label includes an irreversible chamber configured to store a first indicator medium. The first indicator medium is altered in response to the activation medium being released and the flexible sensor label being exposed to a first condition associated with the first indicator medium. The flexible sensor label includes a reversible chamber configured to store a second indicator medium. The second indicator medium is altered in response to the activation medium being released and the flexible sensor label being exposed to a second condition associated with the second indicator medium.

A system for detecting placement or misplacement of an object includes a wireless tag; a first electronic device (“FED”) associated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the FED, transmit the position and status to an external electronic device or network (“EED”) in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are within a predetermined range, and transmit the position and status to the EED in response to the status indicating that the tag and the FED are outside of the predetermined range; and a second electronic device (“SED”) that is unassociated with the tag to automatically detect signals from the tag, determine a position of the SED, determine an identifier for the tag using the signals, and transmit the position of the SED and the identifier to the EED.

CONDUIT WITH RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION (RFID) ENABLED SENSOR
20220343127 · 2022-10-27 · ·

A system for sensing a physical property of a medium inside a conduit includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader arranged to transmit electromagnetic signals in at least one radio frequency. An RFID tag receives the least one radio frequency and exchanges the received radio frequency to electrical energy powering the RFID tag. An included sensor electrically connected to the RFID tag receives the electrical energy from the RFID tag and powers the sensor to obtain measurement data of at least one physical property of the medium and transmit the measurement data to the RFID tag. The RFID tag transmits the measurement data to the RFID reader using the at least one radio frequency.

Systems and methods for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly

Systems and methods are described for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly using elements of a wireless node network of sensor-based ID nodes disposed within the container and a command node associated with the container. The method has the command node identifying which of the ID nodes are confirmed as trusted sensors based upon a security credential specific to each of the ID nodes; monitoring only the confirmed ID nodes for sensor data broadcast those ID nodes; detecting the anomaly based upon the sensor data from at least one of the confirmed ID nodes; automatically generating an alert notification related to the detected environmental anomaly for the shipping container; and transmitting the alert notification to the external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the detected environmental anomaly.

A system, including, associating a wireless tracker with an asset, wherein the wireless tracker emits a tracker identification and a sensor payload including a fixed identification, receiving by at least one of a plurality of mobile devices the tracker identification, the sensor payload and an associated location of the at least one of the plurality of mobile devices and monitoring the tracker identification and the associated location of the at least one of the plurality of mobile devices.

Adaptable tracking tag

A tracking tag system includes a tag case, a first tag case back plate and a second tag case back plate. The tag case has a mating surface and is configured to house a PCB having a transmitter and circuitry for controlling the transmitter. The first tag case back plate is configured to mate with the tag case to enclose and totally protect the PCB, the transmitter, the circuitry and a battery of a first type against ingress of water during immersion and against dust ingress. The second tag case back plate configured to enclose and totally protect the PCB, the transmitter, the circuitry and a battery of a second type against ingress of water during immersion and against dust ingress.

Flexible foldable chip card with improved security

A flexible chip card such as a credit card or a debit card that incorporates a protective layer that precludes unauthorized access to the chip in the chip card. The protective layer is a highly conductive layer that shields the chip and prevents electromagnetic waves that may be emitted by an illicit device from accessing the chip. This protective layer thus prevents any unauthorized persons from obtaining confidential information from the chip card that may then be used to consummate fraudulent transactions or conduct other illicit activities. In one embodiment, the flexible chip card includes one or more stiffening structures to provide rigidity to the chip card.
