MOUNTED TOKEN SYSTEM AND TRACKING
A mounted token system is configured to be worn by a wearer as a part of the grieving process. The mounted token system may include a token with an tracking indicator, a token mount, and a server. The token mount includes an anterior segment which includes an anterior opening, and a posterior segment moveable relative to the anterior segment. The token mount is configured to secure the token therein. At least a portion of the token is visible from an anterior side through the anterior opening. The server performs the following steps: present, to a first user via a graphical user interface, an invitation to provide information indicative of the tracking indicator of the token; receive, from the first user, information indicative of the tracking indicator; and store information indicative of the tracking indicator. The token may then be passed to a subsequent wearer, utilizing a new token mount.
CIRCUIT, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING NEAR-FIELD COMMUNICATION
A circuit for performing a near-field communication having a contactless circuit which is configured for the contactless exchange of data signals with an external contactless reading device, a security circuit which has a memory in which application identifiers are stored and which is configured to execute security-related applications, and a control circuit which is configured to execute non-security-related applications, wherein the contactless circuit, the security circuit and the control circuit are coupled with one another in such a way and, using at least one of the application identifiers, are configured in such a way that the data signals are supplied from the contactless circuit to the control circuit and vice versa exclusively by means of the security circuit. The security circuit can furthermore store bonding and authentication keys for applications in the control circuit in order to set up a secure data exchange channel for these applications.
Sideband generating NFC apparatus to mimic load modulation
An RFID card includes a smartcard controller that receives power from a host device. The RFID card also includes a small inductive device capable of inductive coupling with an RFID reader. The small inductive device is small enough to fit in the form factor of a memory card or SIM card. Enhancement circuits enhance the usable read and write distance of the RFID card.
DEVICE FOR MONITORING AN OCCUPANCY STATUS OF A PARKING SPACE OF A PARKING AREA, AND A SYSTEM AND A PARKING AREA THAT INCLUDE SUCH A DEVICE
A device for monitoring an occupancy status of a parking space of a parking area includes a sensor unit for detecting the occupancy status, a near-field communication unit, and a processing unit configured to (a) establish a first wireless data link to a first communication unit of a first external device using the near-field communication unit, (b) receive an activation and/or deactivation command from the external device via the first data link, and (c) activate and/or deactivate the sensor unit upon receipt of the activation and/or deactivation command. The parking area can include the device. Additionally, a system can includes the device and a first external device that includes the first communication unit.
Wearable device for event access, payment for offline transactions at the event, and visual light display
A wearable device receives ticket information for an event and information indicating a quantity of funds allocated from an account, associated with a user of a user device, to the wearable device, and stores the ticket information and the information indicating the quantity of funds. The wearable device utilizes a wireless component to pair the wearable device and the user device, and provides, to the user device and via the wireless component, the ticket information and information indicating access privileges for the event. The wearable device generates a token for a PoS device for a charge incurred at the event during an offline transaction with the PoS device, and provides, via a NFC component, the token to the PoS device. The wearable device provides, to the user device and via the wireless component, information indicating that that the token was provided to the PoS device.
Coil module
A coil module including a magnetic body having a first body portion extended in a first axial direction and a second body portion extended in a second axial direction different from the first axial direction; and a transmitting coil including a first coil wound around a portion of the first body portion and a second coil wound around a portion of the second body portion.
Method for communicating information from radio frequency peripheral identifiers
The invention relates to a method for communicating data representative of information associated with a radio frequency peripheral to a mobile terminal, comprising the following steps: the mobile terminal acquires a radio frequency peripheral identifier, the mobile terminal emits a primary request comprising first characteristic information derived from said radio frequency peripheral identifier to a primary server, the mobile terminal receives sign information associated with said first characteristic information from the primary server in response to the primary request, the mobile terminal emits a secondary request comprising second characteristic information derived from said radio frequency peripheral identifier to a secondary server, the mobile terminal receives data representative of information associated with said radio frequency peripheral from the secondary server in response to the secondary request.
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, COMPLEMENTARY SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND MERCHANDISE TAG
A problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a semiconductor device that is free from deterioration over time, is stable, and has n-type semiconductor characteristics. A main object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor device that is characterized by including: a substrate; a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a gate electrode; a semiconductor layer in contact with the source electrode and the drain electrode; a gate insulating layer insulating the semiconductor layer from the gate electrode; and a second insulating layer in contact with the semiconductor layer on the opposite side of the semiconductor layer from the gate insulating layer; wherein the semiconductor layer contains a carbon nanotube; wherein the second insulating layer contains an electron-donating material having one or more selected from a nitrogen atom and a phosphorus atom; and wherein the second insulating layer has an oxygen permeability of 4.0 cc/(m.sup.2.Math.24 h.Math.atm) or less.
Universal integrated circuit card (UICC) toolkit
A universal integrated circuit card (UICC) smart card is disclosed. The UICC smart card comprises a processor, a non-transitory memory, a call control application stored in the non-transitory memory, and an application stored in the non-transitory memory. The call control application, when executed by the processor, receives dialed digits from a dialer application executing on a mobile communication device, wherein the UICC smart card is communicatively coupled to the mobile communication device and distributes the dialed digits within the UICC smart card. The application, when executed by the processor, receives the dialed digits distributed by the call control application, identifies a short code included in the dialed digits, selects instructions stored in the non-transitory memory based on the short code, and configures the UICC smart card by causing the processor to execute the selected instructions.
