A semiconductor integrated card includes an external package, a subscriber identification module (SIM) circuit, a plurality of SIM pins, a storage device and a plurality of memory pins. The SIM circuit is formed inside of the external package and is configured to store subscriber information. The SIM pins are formed on a surface of the external package and are electrically connected to the SIM circuit. The storage device is formed inside of the external package and is separated from the SIM circuit. The storage device includes a nonvolatile memory device. The memory pins are formed on the surface of the external package and are electrically connected to the storage device.

Sealing system and method of installing a sealing system

A sealing system for sealing a container lid to a container body includes at least three tags adapted to be mounted to the container lid or the container body, each tag having a unique ID and a first RF transceiver configured to transmit a first RF signal. The system includes at least three anchors adapted to be mounted to the other of the container lid and the container body, each anchor having a unique ID and a second RF transceiver configured to receive the first RF signals. A master unit is adapted to (i) determine, associated with the ID for each tag, a respective current 3D position, based on the first RF signals, (ii) store previously determined 3D positions for each tag, and (iii) generate an alert, timestamp and/or a log entry if separation between the current 3D position and a respective previously determined 3D position exceeds a threshold.

A method to check if a connector system with a Connector Position Assurance (CPA) member is in a closed position. The method includes providing an RFID-tag reader that is positioned at a distance D to the integrated circuit enabling far-field RFID communication and not permitting near-field RFID communication. Further, the method includes checking the readability of the integrated circuit with the RFID-tag reader and issuing an alert signal if the integrated circuit is not readable by the RFID-tag reader indicating that the CPA member is not in the closed position.

Transaction card including removable insert

Provided are approaches for customizing transaction cards using a replaceable insert. In some approaches, the transaction card may include a body comprising a first main side opposite a second main side, a first end opposite a second end, and a first side opposite a second side, wherein a chip is coupled to the first main side of the body. An insert may be positioned within a recess along the first main side, wherein a first magnetic material of the recess and a second magnetic material of the insert are positioned proximate one another to increase retention between the insert and the body.
