Card-type storage device with data uploading function and data uploading method applied thereto
11626196 · 2023-04-11 · ·

A card-type storage device includes a processing chip and a memory module. The processing chip is selectively operated in a data accessing mode or a data uploading mode. The memory module is electrically connected with the processing chip. A first data set generated by the medical device at a first time point and a second data set generated by the medical device at a second time point are stored in the memory module. In the data accessing mode, a first storage list is established by the processing chip according to the first data set, and the first storage list is updated as a second storage list according to the second data set. If the processing chip judges that the second data set satisfies a predetermined condition, the processing chip enters the data uploading mode.

STACKABLE INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CARDS

Systems and methods allow for the integrated circuit cards (ICCs) to removably couple to each other and transmit information to an access device as a single device. One among the two or more ICCs coupled together may read data from the remaining ICCs and provide the data to an access device via contactless communication. The ICC may include a substrate; an integrated circuit embedded in the substrate; input ports exposed on a first surface of the substrate, and output ports exposed on a second surface of the substrate. The input ports and the output ports are electrically coupled to the integrated circuit. The output ports are configured to be removably coupled to the input ports of a second ICC.

Modular transaction card

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a device, system, methods and components related to a modular card. Example components of the modular card include a thin rectangular rear plate, a thin rectangular front plate overlying the rear plate, a first plurality of fasteners fixed to the thin rectangular front plate, a second plurality of fasteners fixed to the thin rectangular rear plate, the second plurality of fasteners being configured to be removably engaged with the first plurality of fasteners; a magnetic strip, and/or an integrated circuit. In operation a user may remove and/or replace various components to customize the modular card. Some customizations include altering the accounts to which the modular card relates. In some example, the modular card may include components which relate to different accounts.

Multimedia card and mobile electronic device

A multimedia card includes a substrate, and a main control chip, a memory chip, and an interface contacts that are disposed on the substrate. The main control chip and the memory chip are covered with a packaging layer. The interface contacts includes a power contact, configured to receive a first voltage that is input from the outside; and a transformer circuit is further disposed on the substrate, is coupled to the interface contacts, the main control chip, and the memory chip, and is configured to convert the input first voltage into a second voltage, to provide two types of power supplies with the first voltage and the second voltage for the main control chip and the memory chip. In the foregoing manner, an area of the multimedia card is reduced, and a quantity of working modes of the multimedia card increases.

Removable memory card with efficient card lock mechanism and pads layout

A memory card is provided with various pad layouts to prevent a data signal pad from contacting a power contact in a host during insertion and removal of the memory card. The memory card can have a form factor and features that accommodate a relatively-large memory with relatively-high performance and accompanying thermal conditions. An efficient card lock mechanism is also provided.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTRONIC MODULE FOR A SMART CARD WITH SECURITY PATTERNS

A method for producing security patterns on an electronic module for a security document includes providing a dielectric film; producing through-holes in the dielectric film; depositing at least one metallic layer on upper and lower faces of the dielectric film leaving the through-holes open; engraving a set of functional metallic zones comprising a central zone forming an electrical ground and a set of electrical contacts separated from one another and separated from the electrical ground by non-metallized zones that expose the dielectric film, and a set of non-functional or decorative zones; and simultaneously engraving a first hollow security pattern by removing material in one of the functional metallic zones, and a second security pattern in relief relative to the dielectric film and obtained by removing material in a zone located outside the functional metallic zones forming the electrical contacts of the terminal block.

HOLDER FOR RFID ENABLED CARDS
20170372181 · 2017-12-28 ·

A holder for cards providing RFID protection is disclosed herein. The holder comprises multiple sheaths, where each sheath has a card position adjacent a protective assembly and a means for holding the card adjacent the protective assembly. Each protective assembly comprises a conductive layer and an absorbing layer adjacent the card position. The sheaths are hingedly connected to enable the user to select a single card for desired use without the need to remove the card from the holder. Once the desired card read has been completed, the cards within the holder are shielded from unauthorized or malicious card reads.

TAMPER-EVIDENT RFID TAG AND METHOD THEREOF

A tamper-evident RFID Tag (100) and a method for manufacturing it. The method (500) may provide (510) at least one protection layer (151) before being cured (520) such as to turn the at least one protection layer (151) into at least one degradable layer (155), and to prevent an assembly or a reassembly of the tamper-evident RFID Tag (100) after any attempt of harvesting of the tamper-evident RFID Tag (100).
