Identity information controlled financial account device
A processing unit and a mobile identity information controlled financial account device may communicate. The processing unit receives at least one digital representation of a biometric, obtains identity information using the at least one digital representation of the biometric, and determines whether or not to transmit an authorization signal to the mobile identity information controlled financial account device that enables use of the mobile identity information controlled financial account device in at least one transaction involving at least one financial account. The mobile identity information controlled financial account device may be usable for the at least one transaction when the mobile identity information controlled financial account device receives the authorization signal. The processing unit may also receive a first digital representation of a biometric for a first person along with at least one permission to assign regarding the mobile identity information controlled financial account device for a second person.
Information security system and method for multi-factor authentication for ATMS using authentication media
A system for verifying a user operating an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) sends an authentication media item to a user device associated with the user when the ATM receives a transaction request. The system receives, from the ATM, a first image of the authentication media item when the authentication media item is presented to the ATM. The system compares the first image of the authentication media item with a second image of the authentication media item stored in a user profile associated with the user. The system extracts a first unique code from the first image of the authentication media item, and a second unique code from the second image of the authentication media item. The system determines whether the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code. The system approves the transaction request if it is determined that the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code.
Voice recognition to authenticate a mobile payment
Systems and methods are provided for authenticating mobile payments from a customer account to a merchant. The systems and methods may include a financial service provider receiving a request to authorize an electronic transaction at a point-of-sale. A financial service provider server computer may verify that the customer is present at the point-of-sale using received location data. An image having distorted text such as a captcha may be transmitted to a device at the point-of-sale, and the customer may read the captcha aloud. A voice sample of the customer may be sent to the financial service provider for comparison to stored voice recordings, to verify that the customer's voice sample is authentic if the voice matches a previously generated voice recording for the account. If the voice sample is authentic, the financial service provider may authorize the mobile payment.
Facial profile password to modify user account data for hands free transactions
An account management system establishes an account for a user. The user enters user account information into the account and the account management system establishes a facial template for the user based on an image of the face of the user. The user requests to change user account information at a merchant POS (POS) device. The merchant POS device captures a facial image of the user and transmits the image the account management system, which generates a facial template and compares the generated facial template against the existing facial template associated with user account. If the generated facial template is less than a threshold difference from the existing facial template, the user may update user account information at the merchant POS device, which communicates the updated user account information to the account management system. The account management system associates the updated user account information with the user account.
System and method for inserting data into an internet browser form
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for inserting payment information into payment forms without user interaction. A system can identify that a user has navigated to a web page operated by a merchant computer system for a merchant and identify a payment form within the web page. The system can then execute a payment request API which generates a query for saved payment credentials for the user from the merchant computer system. When the merchant computer system indicates it does not have the saved payment credentials for the user, the system can identify browser-saved payment credentials stored in the Internet browser, then generate a virtual payment information associated with the browser-saved payment credentials. The virtual payment information can then be inserted into corresponding fields of the payment form without the user entering any additional information.
Authentication based on biometric identification parameter of an individual for payment transaction
Provided is a computer-implemented method for authenticating a customer during payment transactions based on biometric identification parameters of the customer that includes receiving image data associated with an image template for identification of a customer, receiving image data associated with an image of a biometric identification parameter of the customer during a payment transaction between the customer and a merchant, establishing a short-range communication connection with a user device associated with the customer during the payment transaction between the customer and the merchant, authenticating an identity of the customer for the payment transaction via the short-range communication connection, determining an account identifier of an account of the customer based on authenticating the identity of the customer for the payment transaction, and processing the payment transaction using the account identifier of the account of the customer. A system and computer program product are also disclosed.
SINGLE SIGN-ON PROCESS
In order to check the authorization of passengers, the following steps are performed:
storing of authorization data, for example of tickets, in an electronic storage area of a portable personal identification module (40) of the user, for example in a chip-card,
storing of identification data that are specific to the user's outer appearance in an electronic storage area of the personal identification module (40),
contactless transmission of said identification and authorization data in a portable authorization-checking device (90),
visual reproduction of said identification and authorization data with a VRD (Virtual Retina Display).
System and a Method for Facilitating the Provision of Goods
Systems and methods for facilitating the provision of goods using automated stores are provided. The automated stores are distributed across a geographical area and are remotely controlled to create an on-line marketplace. Users of the system can access the marketplace using an interactive portal to purchase items. Buyers can create purchase orders for items stocked in the marketplace and collect the items at one or more automated stores. The items are consigned to the buyers in real time at the automated store.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING AN AUTHORIZATION TO IMPLEMENT A SERVICE, DEVICES AND CORRESPONDING COMPUTER PROGRAM
A method for processing, by a processing entity, of an authorization to implement a service and/or access an item. The method includes: reception, from a requesting device, of a request for implementing a service and/or accessing an item; searching for an indicator of dependency from at least one piece of data of said request for implementation; when an indicator of dependency is present, obtaining an authorization from a verification device to implement said service and/or access said item.
SMART DATA CABLE FOR POINT OF SALE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are described herein that relate to network-connected data cables (i.e., “smart” data cables) that are connected to a merchant's point of sale system and a receipt printer. When a transaction is initiated at the point of sale system, transaction data is created by the point of sale system and passed to the smart data cable for transmission downstream to the receipt printer. The smart data cable can parse the transaction data, copy certain elements from the transaction data, and transmit the copied elements to a cloud-based platform that processes the transaction. For example, the cloud-based platform may compare the copied elements to information supplied by the customer through a messaging application executing on the customer's user device. The information may be provided by the customer to a chat bot that is supported by the cloud-based platform.
