SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM MONITORING USING VISUAL CODE
A system and method for monitoring conditions associated with a smoke detection system, including: operating a smoke detection system to communicate data associated with at least one of the smoke detection system and a protected area, from one or more detector modules, to a display module, encoding the received data with the display module, generating a visual code from the received data with the display module, displaying the visual code in the display window of the display module, decoding the displayed visual code with a mobile device in wireless communication with the display module, and displaying the decoded data on the mobile device in a user-readable form.
Electronic device and method of controlling electronic device
An electronic device for changing a notification mode and a method therefor are provided. The electronic device includes communication circuitry, at least one processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions, when executed, configured to cause the at least one processor to establish communication with a wearable device through the communication circuitry, and upon identifying a change in an operation state of the wearable device, change from a first notification mode of the electronic device to a second notification mode according to the identified operation state of the wearable device.
Calling device of magnetic resonance imaging system and magnetic resonance imaging system
A calling device of a MRI system may include a reader/writer and a call maker. The reader/writer can send a fixed-frequency electromagnetic wave. The call maker may include a main body, an antenna, an operating member, and an answering controller. The antenna can generate an induced current after receiving the fixed-frequency electromagnetic wave. The operating member can switch between first and second positions relative to the main body. The answering controller is configured such that: when the operating member is in the first position, a first radio-frequency signal is sent through the antenna with energy obtained from the induced current generated by the antenna, and when the operating member is in the second position, a second radio-frequency signal is sent through the antenna with energy obtained from the induced current generated by the antenna. The reader/writer can send different prompt signals according to the first and second radio-frequency signals.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING FISHING REGULATIONS
A system and method for managing and tracking fishing/hunting rules and regulations is provided. The system generally comprises a global positioning system (GPS), a processor operably connected to the GPS, a power supply, a display operably connected to the processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon. The system and method are designed to easily and conveniently compile and store information or data related to wildlife sports. The system may use this information to help a user comply with state and federal rules and regulations via the creation of registration strategies and via indicia.

PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUSES WITH RECONFIGURABLE COMMUNICATION
A patient support apparatus includes a frame, support surface, cable interface, switches, a location detector, and a controller. The switches are electrically coupled to the interface and the controller selects a configuration for the plurality of switches based on a current location of the patient support apparatus within a healthcare facility. Alternatively or additionally, a user interface may display a plurality of identifiers that each identifies a predefined configuration for the switches wherein the controller configures the switches according to an identifier selected by the user. A transceiver on board the patient support apparatus may communicate with different fixed transmitters and the controller may implement different switch configurations based on messages from the different fixed transmitters.
Analog wellness device
Embodiments are disclosed to monitor and present biometric information for a user wearing a watch. The watch may include a biometrics sensor configured to output biometric signals associated with a user wearing the watch and a processor configured to select one of a plurality of alphanumeric characters based upon the determined biometric information. The watch may include a first disc coupled with a first motor and including the plurality of alphanumeric characters, the first disc positioned under the first window such that one of the plurality of alphanumeric characters, such as a target heart rate zone, is visible through the first window as the first motor rotates the first disc.
ANALOGUE INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR A WATCH
An analogue information display system for a watch provided with a mechanical movement includes a display dial including a plurality of apertures, a moving display part supporting graphical representations, disposed in such a way that the graphical representations supported thereby appear in the plurality of apertures in order to generate the information, and an indicator member configured so as to designate a piece of information generated in an aperture to be notified to the wearer of the watch.
OBJECT FILTERING MOTION DETECTION SYSTEM
The object-filtering motion detection system disclosed herein may comprise, at least, a plurality of motion sensors, an indicator display, and a means for attachment to a vehicle. The combination may be installed on or integrated into any type of vehicle, especially including service vehicles, busses, or commercial vehicles. The system is designed to comprise a limited detection range and alert only to human-sized objects, so as to reduce or eliminate false or excessive alerts that may cause a user to ignore the alerts. The system may implement wireless connectivity to enhance applicability and expandability of the system, and may further interface with a given vehicle to power on and off automatically with the vehicle itself. The system may also comprise an alerting means that a user may carry on their person, so that they are alerted to persons within the proximity of the vehicle when they are away from the vehicle.
