SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTELY ASSISTING AN OPERATOR
System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to remotely assisting an operator that is impaired using alerts from a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by a first vehicle using a communications network, assistance information about an operator and a second vehicle near the first vehicle, wherein the assistance information indicates a state of the operator and a position of the second vehicle. The method also includes, upon approving an action according to the state and the position, selecting an alert that changes the state according to the position and attributes determined according to sensor data of the first vehicle. The method also includes activating the alert by the first vehicle.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHODS AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus notifies an external device of position information, receives an identifier notified from the external device after notifying the position information, stores, after the identifier is received, the received identifier as management information for specifying a message that the communication apparatus is to subscribe to, and obtains, in a case where a message delivered from outside and associated with the identifier stored as the management information is received, information included in the received message.
Vehicle event identification
A plurality of prompts, each associated with a road event, are presented on a display upon receiving a first input on an input device. A second input selecting the prompts is received on a second input device. A message is sent with the selected prompts and a location of a vehicle.
REDUCING VEHICLE OCCUPANT ACTIVITY
In an approach to safely facilitate driver responses to road traffic event alerts, computer-implemented methods, computer program products, and computer systems for reducing vehicle occupant distractions are described. The computer-implemented method includes processors configured for receiving vehicle alert data corresponding to a road traffic event, generating a user alert prompt corresponding to the vehicle alert data, transmitting the user alert prompt to a user vehicle satisfying a first condition, and receiving a user response from an occupant of the user vehicle. Responsive to receiving an affirmative user response, activating one or more vehicle activity systems to reduce vehicle cabin activity by occupants within the user vehicle.
Alert of occurrence of pre-dangerous state of vehicle
The driver of a vehicle is alerted to occurrence of various pre-dangerous states. There is provided an information processing apparatus including a storage unit that stores information obtained by a traveling simulation of a vehicle in a virtual environment and indicating a pre-dangerous state before the vehicle is set in a dangerous state, a first acquirer that acquires actual information during traveling of the vehicle, and an alert controller that provides an alert of occurrence of the pre-dangerous state based on the actual information acquired by the first acquirer and the information indicating the pre-dangerous state.
Communications system having a communications adapter and a coordination device, and communications adapter, coordination device and method for carrying out a communication
A communication system includes a motor vehicle, a portable communication adapter separate from the motor vehicle and able to be coupled reversibly to a control device of the motor vehicle via a communication interface, and a vehicle-external coordination device. The communication adapter receives motor vehicle data describing a traffic behavior and/or a traffic environment of the motor vehicle from the control device. The communication adapter includes a transmission/reception unit and transmits the motor vehicle data to the vehicle-external coordination device via the transmission/reception unit and receives warning data generated by the vehicle-external coordination device which describes a traffic behavior and/or a traffic environment of another motor vehicle. The communication adapter initiates a traffic-coordinating measure based on the warning data.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGEMENT OF DRIVING MANEUVERS
A system and method for managing driving maneuvers including: providing a requesting driving maneuver management system (DMMS) module in a requesting vehicle, and a responding DMMS module associated with a responding road user; by the requesting DMMS module, sending a request indicating an intended driving maneuver using vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications; and by the responding DMMS module, receiving the request and providing a request notification to the associated responding road user of the request.
Vehicle traveling control system
A traveling control system includes a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, a path plan setter and a controller. The first a acquisition unit communicates with a cloud environment including an edge environment to acquire cloud information including traveling information of other vehicles from at least the edge environment. The second acquisition unit recognizes a traveling environment of an own vehicle and acquires own vehicle traveling information including the recognized traveling environment and a vehicle control state of the own vehicle. The path plan setter sets a path plan in automatic driving control to cause the own vehicle to travel automatically. The determines a need for changing the path plan and the automatic driving control based on the cloud information and controls traveling behavior of the own vehicle according to the need for a change based on the cloud information and the own vehicle traveling information.
VEHICLE TO VEHICLE EVENT NOTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A facility for providing vehicle to vehicle event notification for connected and/or unconnected vehicles is disclosed. The facility enables a vehicle to detect an occurrence of a vehicle status trigger event and identify information describing an event type. The facility determines a priority of the vehicle status event based at least in part on the type of the vehicle status event. When the vehicle status event is to be reported to at least one other vehicle, the facility enables the vehicle to generate a vehicle status event message that includes the priority of the vehicle status event and at least a portion of the information describing the type of the vehicle status event. The vehicle status event message is then transmitted/broadcasted to at least one other vehicle.
IN-VEHICLE APPARATUS, ROADSIDE APPARATUS, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
An in-vehicle apparatus to be mounted in a vehicle includes receiving circuitry, which, in operation, receives, from a roadside apparatus providing a distribution service of a road video, an advertisement message indicating that the distribution service is provided; control circuitry, which, in operation, generates, based on reception of the advertisement message, a message regarding transmission of the road video to the roadside apparatus; and transmitting circuitry, which, in operation, transmits the message to the roadside apparatus.
