The system includes: an operation system configured to generate a transportation plan for a vehicle and transmit the transportation plan to a vehicle controller of the vehicle; and the vehicle controller configured to control, in accordance with the transportation plan, the vehicle to autonomously move to a position of a checkpoint at an entrance to a target highway port, and interact with a checkpoint controller corresponding to the position of the checkpoint for autonomously passing the checkpoint; and control the vehicle to autonomously move from the position of the checkpoint to a specified loading/unloading position in the target highway port, and interact with a loading/unloading control apparatus for autonomous loading/unloading at the loading/unloading position. A method for automatically learning parking preferences for a driver and generating parking recommendations includes generating training data based at least in part on: 1) trajectory data indicating a trajectory of a vehicle during a plurality of parking events, each in which a driver of the vehicle selected a parking candidate from among a plurality of parking candidates, and 2) attribute data indicating attributes of each of the plurality of parking candidates, removing, from the training data, data associated with at least one available parking candidate based on one or more conditions that indicate the driver did not consider the at least one available parking candidate, and training a decision model, based on remaining training data, to estimate a preferred parking candidate for the driver from among a set of available parking candidates.

The present disclosure provides a system, method and associated apparatus for autonomous vehicle transportation. The system includes: an operation system configured to generate a transportation plan for a vehicle and transmit the transportation plan to a vehicle controller of the vehicle; and the vehicle controller configured to control, in accordance with the transportation plan, the vehicle to autonomously move to a position of a checkpoint at an entrance to a target highway port, and interact with a checkpoint controller corresponding to the position of the checkpoint for autonomously passing the checkpoint; and control the vehicle to autonomously move from the position of the checkpoint to a specified loading/unloading position in the target highway port, and interact with a loading/unloading control apparatus for autonomous loading/unloading at the loading/unloading position. VEHICLE OPERATION SYSTEM

Provided is a vehicle operation system including a first operation management server and a second operation management server. The first operation management server calculates a running route to the destination, a border point, and a scheduled arrival time at which the first vehicle is to arrive at the border point, and informs the second operation management server of these. Further, the first operation management server sends an operation instruction to the first vehicle to instruct it to run from the current position to the border point. The second operation management server sends an operation signal to a second vehicle to instruct it to arrive at the border point by the informed scheduled arrival time, and then to run from the border point to the destination after the user transfers from the first vehicle to the second vehicle at the border point.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING CALM OR QUIET ROUTES

Systems and methods for generating calm or quiet routes are provided. When a user requests navigation directions and indicates a preference for a calm route, a plurality of routes between the origin location and the destination location requested by the user may be identified. Historical sensor data (e.g., including heart rate data, exterior vehicle noise level data, accelerometer data) and traffic data associated with route segments of each of the routes may be analyzed to identify indications of calmness associated with each route segment. Current traffic data associated with the route segments may be analyzed to assign a traffic score representing a level of congestion along the segment and corresponding to a level of insurance risk associated with traversing the segment. Based at least in part upon the indications of calmness and the traffic score associated with each route segment, a route may be selected and presented to the user.

Parking service

A vehicle system includes a communication interface and a processing device. The processing device determines a proximity of a host vehicle to a target location. When the proximity to the target location is less than a predetermined value, the processing device commands the communication interface to transmit the target location to a parking server. In response, the processing device receives a message identifying at least one parking zone from the parking server.
