Systems and methods for generating calm or quiet routes

Systems and methods for generating calm or quiet routes are provided. When a user requests navigation directions and indicates a preference for a calm route, a plurality of routes between the origin location and the destination location requested by the user may be identified. Historical sensor data (e.g., including heart rate data, exterior vehicle noise level data, accelerometer data) and traffic data associated with route segments of each of the routes may be analyzed to identify indications of calmness associated with each route segment. Current traffic data associated with the route segments may be analyzed to assign a traffic score representing a level of congestion along the segment and corresponding to a level of insurance risk associated with traversing the segment. Based at least in part upon the indications of calmness and the traffic score associated with each route segment, a route may be selected and presented to the user.

Provided are an autonomous vehicle 100 traveling along a set route, a delivery system, and a program, the autonomous vehicle including a pair of display units 103 installed at left and right on the front face of the main body and a monitoring camera 104 for shooting the front, sides, and rear of the autonomous vehicle 100, wherein by displaying predetermined eye-shaped images on the display unit 103 based on the state of the autonomous vehicle 100 and the images shot by the monitoring camera 104, the eye-shaped images are changed depending on the state of obstacles to ensure friendliness to people in stores and at delivery destinations as well as surrounding people during travel.

NAVIGATION METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A navigation method, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which are related to a field of artificial intelligence, such as depth learning, maps, and navigation. The specific implementation scheme includes: obtaining a parking space located in an indoor parking lot in response to an operation acquired based on a map application, generating an indoor-outdoor navigation route in the map application by taking the parking space as a destination address in the indoor-outdoor navigation route, and navigating a vehicle driven by a user to the parking space according to the indoor-outdoor navigation route.

Accounting for driver reaction time when providing driving instructions

A system for directing a vehicle may include a processor configured to receive, from a wireless communication device, location data indicative of a current location of the vehicle and direct the vehicle to a desired destination using a first driving route. The processor may also be configured to receive, at a first time, data indicating that a new route for the vehicle is requested, and predict a location of the vehicle at a second time that will occur after the first time. The location may be one where a driver of the vehicle can safely implement instructions associated with changing the first driving route. The may further be configured to determine, based on the predicted location of the vehicle at the second time, a second driving route and prior to the second time, send instructions associated with the second driving route to the wireless communication device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ROUTE PLANNING

The present disclosure may provide a method for route planning. The method may include obtaining a start location and a destination of a target vehicle. The method may also include obtaining a map of a target region including the start location and the destination. The map may include node information of each of a plurality of nodes. Further, the method may include obtaining motion status information associated with one or more vehicles other than the target vehicle in the target region. The method may further include determining a target route of the target vehicle based at least in part on the start location, the destination, the motion status information associated with the one or more vehicles, and the map.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE, SERVER AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING PRECISE MAP DATA OF SERVER

Provided are a method, performed by an electronic device, of controlling a vehicle, and an electronic device for the same. A method, performed by an electronic device, of controlling a vehicle includes: transmitting, to an external server communicatively connected to the vehicle, as profile information of the vehicle, sensor information regarding at least one sensor mounted on the vehicle, communication efficiency information of the vehicle, and driving information of the vehicle; receiving, from the external server, precise map data related to at least one map layer selected based on the profile information of the vehicle from among a plurality of map layers that are combined to form a precise map and distinguished according to attributes thereof; and controlling the vehicle to perform autonomous driving by using the received at least one precise map data.

Vehicle controller and vehicle control system

A vehicle controller includes a processor that switches, when detecting a physical abnormality of an occupant of an own vehicle based on physical information of the occupant, the own vehicle to an emergency mode in which the own vehicle automatically travels to a destination. The processor receives, when the own vehicle is switched to the emergency mode, other vehicle information from another vehicle switched to the emergency mode. The other vehicle information includes information on a physical abnormality of an occupant of the other vehicle. Based on the other vehicle information and own vehicle information including information on the physical abnormality of the occupant of the own vehicle, the processor sets the order of priority to determine which of the own vehicle or the other vehicle is allowed to travel preferentially, and sends, based on the order of priority, a medical aid request to an information processor.

Enhanced travel modes for vehicles

A method for operating a fleet of vehicles may include determining a first set of parameters for operating a first vehicle as it travels to a destination, and determining a second set of parameters for operating a second vehicle. Consumption of the first set of parameters by the first vehicle may cause the first vehicle to accelerate, alter shocks and/or suspensions, and/or move into a free lane. Consumption of the second set of parameters by the second vehicle may cause the second vehicle to remain outside of a drive envelope of the first vehicle, between the first vehicle and the particular destination.

Systems and methods for monitoring on-route transportations

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for monitoring on route transportations. The method includes obtaining a driving route of a target vehicle; obtaining a reference position on the driving route away from a first current position of the target vehicle; determining a second current position of the target vehicle after a reference time; determining a distance between the second current position and the reference position is greater than a preset distance; and sending a signal to a target terminal indicating that the target vehicle is off-route.

Methods and Systems for Generating Revised Jam Conditions

A method of generating map data indicating a deviation from expected jam conditions on a segment of a plurality of segments in an area covered by an electronic map, the segment having associated therewith a jam probability indicating the likelihood of a jam on that segment. The method comprises establishing an expected jam condition for the segment based on the jam probability of that segment, and then obtaining live data indicating the jam conditions on at least one of the plurality of other segments in the area. A revised jam condition can then be established for the segment using the obtained live data.
