TOLL ROAD NETWORK TRAFFIC INFORMATION COLLECTION AND GUIDANCE SYSTEM BASED ON ROUTE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

The invention discloses a toll road network traffic information collection and guidance system based on a route identification system, comprising toll road exit and entry toll lane systems, a networked toll center system, a 5.8 G route identification station, a 5.8 G route identification station monitoring system, a dual-frequency pass card for MTC vehicles, an OBU and a non-cash payment card for ETC vehicles, an in-vehicle multimedia terminal and a traffic information processing system. Collection of route identification, traffic information and vehicle driving state information, and traffic information pushing are implemented using the 5.8 GHz route identification station, the dual-frequency pass card and OBU containing a Bluetooth module and an OBU, and the in-vehicle multimedia terminal; processing and predication of information such as travel time, traffic flow, travel velocity, traffic state, and vehicle location on toll road sections are implemented using a method of combining cloud computing with 5.8 G route identification station distributed calculating, providing accurate and reliable traffic information ahead to a road user in real-time.

MAP GENERATING SERVER AND MAP GENERATING METHOD

A map generating server capable of bidirectional communication with multiple vehicles having a database configured to store vehicle type identifiers assigned to the vehicles and map data regarding roads usable by the vehicles and cultivated land area near the roads. In the server, a vehicle position data tagged with vehicle type identifier is successively written to location concerned of the map data when each vehicle transmits the position data tagged with the vehicle type identifier. The vehicle position data writing number is incremented if the written vehicle position data is that of a vehicle assigned a specified vehicle type identifier, and the location concerned of the cultivated land area is determined to be cultivated land area road and to update the map data stored in the database when the writing number is equal to or greater than a predetermined number.

A vehicle traveling control apparatus that performs an automatic driving control based on traveling environment information and traveling information includes a steering holding state detector, a target parameter setting unit, a target parameter correcting unit, and an acceleration and deceleration controller. The steering holding state detector detects a steering wheel holding state of a driver. The target parameter setting unit recognizes a curve ahead of the own vehicle based on the traveling environment information. The target parameter setting unit sets a target parameter that is based on one or both of a target vehicle speed and an allowable lateral acceleration rate of the own vehicle in passing through the curve. The target parameter correcting unit corrects the target parameter depending on the steering wheel holding state. The acceleration and deceleration controller sets a target acceleration rate of the own vehicle based on the target parameter, and controls acceleration and deceleration.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND MOBILE DEVICE

A mobile device 20 transmits, to an information processing device 50, a route search request including search conditions which contain a destination, destination arrival time, and moving purpose designated by a user. On the basis of the route search request, the information processing device 50 searches for a moving route to the destination in accordance with the destination arrival time, together with stop-by place candidates corresponding to the moving purpose, and transmits a search result to the mobile device 20. The mobile device 20 presents the searched moving route to the user. Moreover, in response to selection of a stop-by place by the user, the moving route, an estimated arrival time to the destination, and the stop-by place candidates are dynamically changed. A moving plan which includes information regarding available stop-by places can be provided from a mobile device of a vehicle or the like.

An information processing device includes an acquisition unit acquiring area information that indicates a geographical position or a geographical range where a reproduction output of content information is to be ended, and a determination unit determining output start timing when the reproduction output of the content information is to be started in a traveling vehicle based on reproduction time of the content information and the area information.

Generating navigation instructions
12038298 · 2024-07-16 · ·

Concepts for generating navigation instructions for a driver of a vehicle are presented. One example, includes obtaining a current location of the vehicle, a route for the vehicle from the current location to a target destination, and a captured image of the surrounding environment of the vehicle, the image having a field of view comprising at least part of a field of view of the driver. An object is identified in the captured image. Navigation instructions for the driver are generated based on the current location of the vehicle, the route for the vehicle and the object identified in the captured image.

NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND NAVIGATION DEVICE

Whether route guidance information output from a navigation device to which an external device is connectable is provided by a navigation function of the external device or by that of the navigation device is able to be identified. A navigation device (100) that outputs route guidance information to HMI devices (104) to (110) and an external device (102) having a navigation function connected to the navigation device are included. The navigation device includes an external device detection means (322) that detects an input from the external device and an output control means (324) that controls output of route guidance information to the HMI devices. When the external device detection means has detected an input from the external device, the output control means outputs route guidance information provided by the navigation function included in the external device to the HMI devices in an output mode different from when route guidance information is output to the HMI devices by a navigation function included in the navigation device.
