SEALING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a sealing device (10) for a container. The sealing device comprises a housing (12) housing an integrated circuit (14). A locking member (16) is slidably attached to the housing (12) and includes an electrical conductor (19) embedded therein. The electrical conductor (19) and the integrated circuit (14) form an RFID circuit when the locking member (16) is in a locking position. The electrical connection between the electrical conductor (19) and the integrated circuit (14) is broken when the locking member (16) is cut or forcibly removed from the housing (12) and cannot be re-established. In this manner, a manipulation of the sealing device (10) can be reliably prevented.
SMART LABEL SYSTEM
The invention relates to a smart label and a system that allows the handling of the label. The smart label system is formed by a) a smart label having a hidden message that becomes visible in the event of an attempt to remove the label from an item to which it is affixed; b) a chip with an antenna embedded with the label; c) an electronic mobile device for communicating with the chip; and d) an algorithm on the chip and on the electronic mobile device for unique encoded reading (padlock) encryption.
Tamper evident cargo container seal bolt lock
Systems and methods for a tamper-evident cargo container seal bolt lock are disclosed herein. The device can include a bolt member having a conductive medium running the axial length of the bolt, and a receiving member for locking the bolt into place. A battery-driven sensory circuit including a memory means, a processor, and a timing circuit can be disposed within the receiving member such that a continuous circuit is formed from one circuit pin over the conductive medium through the length of the bolt and back to a second pin. The sensory circuit is configured to sense whether the circuit has been interrupted (e.g., if the bolt has been cut). In the event of an interruption, the circuit can record the time and/or date in memory. This information can then be transmitted to an RFID reader/interrogator if a dispute arises as to when the lock had been broken.
VARIABLE PATTERN SHIELD PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER
The disclosed embodiments provide a method for tamper-evident shipment or storage of goods. An Electrical Shield pattern is embedded in or printed on a substrate with other electrical, optical, and electronic components, communication components, semiconductors, which are attached or printed on a substrate to form a shipment bag used as a shipping container. The shield pattern can be made variable between different bags by using algorithms entered into a printer control system. The shipment bag with its components can then be assigned a unique signature which differentiates each bag. Application of encryption methods serves to guarantee the shipped goods are authentic and that were not tampered with during shipment. Digital signal processing is used to generate pedigree information, which may include items such as shipping location, serial numbers, sensor information, and lot numbers for the goods. The information related to the history of tampering attempts and other sensor status can be placed in encrypted form in an RFID tags or control or monitoring electronics which can be read by a mobile phone application or sent to a remote cloud-based server.
System and method for attaching identification tags to objects using a flexible attachment device
The present invention is a system and method for the attachment of a tracking sensor or identification device placed on an object without the need for an attachment tool or fasteners such as adhesives, rivets, screws, or bolts. Through the interaction of the attachment device and the particular portions of the object to which it is attached as to secure the device to the object using tension between the device and object due to the device having flexible prongs which grip the object when properly located on the object.
Quick connect fluid connector with tube variation tolerance and connection verification
A quick connect fluid connector that is provided with sealing and gripping feature that are able to tolerate variations in a tube of a second fluid system to which the fluid connector connects. The fluid connector tolerates the variations while maintaining the sealing and gripping at high fluid pressures through the fluid connector. In one embodiment, the fluid connector may also be provided with an RFID tag to verify that the fluid connector is properly connected to the tube.
Electronic Seal (E-Seal) Device and Related Techniques
An electronic seal (e-seal) device and related techniques are disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, the disclosed e-seal device may be configured to e-seal a given host platform. The disclosed e-seal device may include a radio frequency (RF) wireless transmitter configured, in accordance with some embodiments, to transmit a signal including data that may be compared against data from a server database in determining whether the e-seal has been compromised. When received by an authorized recipient within range, information from the signal may be delivered through the internet to the server database, which may be cloud-based in some instances, allowing for inter-networking of the system components and other elements as part of the internet of things (IOT). Reader and other computing devices may access the information stored at the server database to monitor and track the e-sealed platform, as well as control overall system operation.
MERCHANDISE ATTACHMENT WITH RFID TRANSPONDER
A merchandise attachment incorporating n RFID transponder may be described herein. The merchandise attachment may include a pliable, elongated panel member adapted for wrapping around the neck of a bottle or similar container. The panel member may be formed from a unitary blank having score lines that divide the blank into a plurality of panel sections. The panel member, when folded along the score lines with its end sections in overlapping relationship, may form a packaging sleeve in the shape of a tapered rectangular prism. The exterior surface of the panel member may be provided with informational material regarding the merchandise, such as branding, promotional offers, and the like. The RFID transponder, affixed to an interior surface of the panel member, may be adapted for wirelessly communicating information in radio-frequency signals.
ULTRASONICALLY WELDED LABEL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods of using ultrasonic welding to form labels with RFID tags are disclosed. The methods can be useful for the production of a large volume of labels such as production with roll-to-roll processing. The labels can be useful for consumer products such as garments. The present invention discloses in one embodiment, a label having a first and second printed fabric label layer such that a radio frequency identification (RFID) inlay is disposed between the two printed fabric layers
REUSABLE BOLT ELECTRONIC SEAL MODULE WITH GPS/CELLULAR PHONE COMMUNICATIONS & TRACKING SYSTEM
An electronic security bolt seal for locking a hasp includes an electronic module that has a circuit board disposed at an interior cavity of a housing. The housing includes apertures aligned with each other, such that a bolt is configured to be inserted through the apertures and through the interior cavity to engage the circuit board and complete an electronics circuit. When the bolt is inserted through the apertures of the housing, a locking device engages a tip region of the bolt that protrudes from the housing to secure the electronic module to the bolt. Responsive to a determination of breaking the electronics circuit, the circuit board is operable to generate a seal tamper signal. The locking element can be unlocked by a user to disengage the locking device from the bolt to permit the bolt to be removed from the electronic module and disengaged from the hasp.
