An apparatus for driving an electro-optic display may comprise spaced first and second device layers, and a first and second rows of display pixels, each row may include a plurality of display pixels, each display pixel having a pixel electrode positioned on the first device layer for driving the display pixel, a conduction line positioned on the second device layer and overlapping with a portion of the plurality of display pixels' pixel electrodes, and at least one conductive path connecting the conduction line of the first row to a conduction line of the second row of display pixels.

A display substrate of an electronic ink screen and a display device thereof are disclosed. The display substrate of the electronic ink screen includes: a base substrate having a display region and a non-display region; a display structure disposed in the display region of the base substrate; and a photoelectric conversion device disposed in the non-display region of the base substrate, wherein the photoelectric conversion device is connected to a driving circuit of the electronic ink screen and is configured to convert an optical signal of ambient light of the electronic ink screen to an electrical signal so as to supply power to the driving circuit.

A system comprises a first display driver interface circuit configured to receive a plurality of software control instructions regarding a display device, and a second display driver interface circuit configured to deliver a first control signal to a display device in response to a first of the plurality of software control instructions, and to deliver a second control signal to the display device in response to a second of the plurality of software control instructions. The first control signal directs at least a portion of the display device into a light emitting mode when pixel data to be displayed by that portion of the display device is variable over a determined number of consecutive frames, and the second control signal directs at least a portion of the display device into an electronic paper mode when pixel data to be displayed by that portion of the display device is fixed over the determined number of consecutive frames.

A device can include a first transparent display having a at least one pixel, wherein transparency of the at least one pixel is electronically controlled, and a second transparent display configured to emit an image. Selected regions of the image are shown by having regions of the second transparent display corresponding to the selected regions of the image be transparent and regions of the first transparent display corresponding to the selected regions of the image appear opaque.

Provided are an array substrate, an electronic paper display panel and a drive method thereof and a display device. A display area includes a plurality of sub-display areas, a plurality of data lines in each sub-display area are electrically insulated from each other, corresponding data lines in different sub-display areas are electrically connected to each other, and a control signal line is configured to control display time of each sub-display area. When a control chip and a flexible circuit board are employed, only a small number of control chips and flexible circuit boards may drive the plurality of sub-display areas to display pictures.
Common voltage driving circuit, display device, and electronic device
A common voltage driving circuit, a display device, and an electronic device are provided. The common voltage driving circuit includes multiple scan lines and multiple common-voltage signal lines, and further includes multiple common electrode units arranged in an array. The multiple scan lines extend in a first direction and are arranged at intervals in sequence in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The multiple common-voltage signal lines extend in the second direction and are arranged at intervals in sequence in the first direction. The multiple common electrode units are disposed at intersections of the multiple scan lines and the multiple common-voltage signal lines respectively. Common electrode units in a same column are all electrically coupled with a same common-voltage signal line. Common electrode units in a same row are all electrically coupled with a same second scan line.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a scanning line, a semiconductor layer, a first inorganic insulating film located between the scanning line and the semiconductor layer, a first signal line, a second inorganic insulating film having a main surface which contacts the first signal line and located between the semiconductor layer and the first signal line, a capacitance electrode contacting the main surface, a pixel electrode overlapping the capacitance electrode, and a third inorganic insulating film covering the first signal line and the capacitance electrode and located between the first signal line and the pixel electrode and between the capacitance electrode and the pixel electrode.

A device can include a first display configured to produce an image and a second display. The second display can be non-emissive and transparent. The second display can also include a plurality of pixels that is electronically controllable to selectively diffuse light associated with the image produced by the first display.

The electronic paper display apparatus has: a first electrode layer and a thin-film transistor array layer, which are opposite; an electronic paper ink layer, which is between the first electrode layer and the thin-film transistor array layer; and a second electrode layer, which is on a side of the thin-film transistor array layer away from the electronic paper ink layer and is configured to be capable of forming an electric field for removing an image of the electronic paper ink layer or resetting the electronic paper ink layer together with the first electrode layer.
