Magnetically secured instrument trigger
An apparatus, system, and method for a magnetically and releasably attachable trigger for an instrument is provided. The trigger and securing device are disposed on either side of a drumhead or other instrument surface via magnetic force, keeping the instrument surface intact and not deforming the instrument surface. Additionally, the trigger provides for an increased sensitivity of sound by being in direct physical contact with the surface on which it is attached.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RECORDING AND TRANSCRIBING MUSIC
A system for recording and transcribing music can comprise a sound-capturing device, a control device, memory, and a communication module. A sound-capturing device can record music. The control device can be configured to activate the sound-capturing device. Memory can be communicatively coupled to the sound-capturing device. The memory can be configured to store a recording of the music from the music instrument. A sound-capturing device, control device, and memory can be arranged and configured to couple to a music instrument. A communication module can be communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein the communication module is arranged and configured to wirelessly transmit data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING DIGITAL NOTE INFORMATION FOR A METAL-STRINGED MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
Systems and methods for a digital instrument are described, for example to simulate or be used in conjunction with a stringed instrument. A sensor system detects the deflection of one or more strings of the digital instrument, produces a measurement of the detected deflection, correlates the measurement to a musical note, and produces at least a portion of digital output based upon the musical note.
VIBRATO ARM AND SYSTEM
A manual vibrato control device, system and processing arrangement are disclosed. A manual vibrato includes a rotatable shaft, a raised cam section on the shaft, first and second biased collars received on the shaft either side of the cam section, the bias of the first collar being rotationally opposite to the bias of the second collar such that as the shaft rotates in one direction, it receives a return force from the first collar but does not rotate the second collar, and vice versa.
Also disclosed are processing techniques to take the rotational data from rotational sensors, preferably Hall Effect, on the shaft and generate pitch change instructions for a pitch modification device. The mapping is user controllable to produce desired effects and performance.
MAGNETICALLY SECURED INSTRUMENT TRIGGER AND INSTRUMENT TRIGGER MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An apparatus, system, and method for a magnetically and releaseably attachable trigger for an instrument is provided.
ELECTRIC STRINGED GUITAR
The present indention provides a stringed musical instrument comprising; a substantially hollow body portion containing an audio system comprising an amplifier; at least one loudspeaker electrically connected to the audio amplifier; an audio interface for electrically connecting to a smart device and a power supply electrically connected to the audio system; a neck sub-assembly including: a neck; playing strings extending lengthwise along the neck; a bridge attached to the neck over which the strings are stretched, and tensioning means by which the strings are held tensioned; and a docking station whereby, in use, a smart device may be removably secured to the instrument and electrically connected to the audio system.
SMART GUITAR CABLE
Methods and devices are provided whereby deficiencies in the impedance of a cable connecting an electric guitar and a wireless transmitter or other audio device may be electronically corrected, according to user preferences. User settings may be saved and recalled as needed from a program interface that serially communicates with electronics controlling the behavior of the cable.
Electromagnetic multi-function multi-purpose chordophone
An electromagnetic multi-function multi-purpose chordophone musical instrument upon which any form or style of music may be played in any position by a performer standing or seated, in a fixed location or moving throughout a performance venue. The player may initiating the vibrations of each string, any combination of strings, or all of the strings with a plectrum or the fingers of one or both hands, singly or in any combination and such vibrations will continue until their eventual natural termination unless damped and/or muted by the player using the fingers or the palm of one or both hands singly or in any combination. The shape and style of the rigid frame of the instrument is not limited by the need for frets, a fretboard, or keys.
Periodicity analysis system
A system for identifying a periodicity-related attribute in a multi-frequency signal. The system is configured to produce phase and delay modulated signals from a complex input signal. The system is designed to combine these phase and delay modulated signals to identify a periodicity-related attribute associated with the multi-frequency signal. The system is configured to produce a physically perceptible output based on the identified periodicity-related attribute.
