Video recording method and device, Internet Protocol camera and storage medium
Disclosed are a video recording method, a video recording device, an Internet Protocol camera and a storage medium. In this disclosure, a relative timestamp of a current image uploaded by an image sensor is compared with a recording timestamp of a current recording frame, then an image to be recorded corresponding to the current recording frame is determined according to a comparison result, and finally video recording is performed according to the image to be recorded.
RECORDING DEVICE, RECORDING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A recording device includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire predetermined information including at least an image of an area around a vehicle, a recording unit configured to record the predetermined information acquired by the acquisition unit as a file, a playback unit configured to play back a designated file among a plurality of files recorded in the recording unit, and a file management unit configured to extract a file recorded in a period substantially continuous in time series with a file being played back from the plurality of files and protect writing of the extracted file. Thus, it is possible to provide a recording device capable of preventing writing of a file related to a file being played back.
Classifying segments of media content using closed captioning
In one aspect, an example method includes (i) retrieving, from a text index, closed captioning repetition data for a segment of a sequence of media content; (ii) generating features using the closed captioning repetition data; (iii) providing the features as input to a classification model, wherein the classification model is configured to output classification data indicative of a likelihood of the features being characteristic of a program segment; (iv) obtaining the classification data output by the classification model; (v) determining a prediction of whether the segment is a program segment using the classification data; and (vi) storing the prediction for the segment in a database.

Distributed utilization of computing resources for processing coordinated displays of video streams
A system can minimize the use of a central computing resource while detecting and correcting visual anomalies that may result from a compilation of video streams from a variety of sources. The central resource can receive device specification data defining parameters on how remote computers measure image properties and generate video data, e.g., camera sensitivity levels, image generation capabilities, etc. The central resource then uses the device specification data to generate calibration metadata that allows each client device to analyze light levels and generate image data according to a normalized standard. This allows each of the clients to generate more consistent video images to be shared in a video communication session. In some configurations, the calibration metadata causes each client device to make the adjustments automatically, and in some instances, video streams can be corrected according to a ranked list of adjustments.
SPECTATOR FILTER VIDEO COMPOSITING
Methods and systems for providing accessibility features for generating annotations for a video content stream includes providing an annotation menu with a plurality of annotation options for defining annotations for the video content stream. Each annotation option provides an annotation tool to generate an annotation that corresponds with an accessibility feature defined by the annotation option. Annotation generated using the annotation tool is used to generate an annotation layer for the video content stream. An annotated video content stream is generated by overlaying the annotation layer over the video content stream. The annotated video content stream generated for the selected annotation option is provided for rendering at a client device of a user, in response to receiving a selection of the accessibility feature corresponding to the annotation option from the user. The annotations included in the annotated video content stream augments the content of the video content stream.
PAUSING AND RESUMING MEDIA FILES
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for the presentation and marking of media modules. In different aspects, the systems and methods may allow a user to present and consume a media module, particularly a media module containing data that is typically presented in a serial manner such as audio, visual, or video media, and to create a marked media module for quickly and easily returning to a marked point of interest in the media module at a later time or on a different device.
Multimedia Distribution System
A multimedia file and methods of generating, distributing and using the multimedia file are described. Multimedia files in accordance with embodiments of the present invention can contain multiple video tracks, multiple audio tracks, multiple subtitle tracks, a complete index that can be used to locate each data chunk in each of these tracks and an abridged index that can enable the location of a subset of the data chunks in each track, data that can be used to generate a menu interface to access the contents of the file and ‘meta data’ concerning the contents of the file. Multimedia files in accordance with several embodiments of the present invention also include references to video tracks, audio tracks, subtitle tracks and ‘meta data’ external to the file. One embodiment of a multimedia file in accordance with the present invention includes a series of encoded video frames, a first index that includes information indicative of the location within the file and characteristics of each encoded video frame and a separate second index that includes information indicative of the location within the file of a subset of the encoded video frames.
AUDIO EQUALIZATION METADATA
Introduced here are systems and methods to enable recording artists and engineers to specify exactly how the audio track should be played as well as perceived by the user in the case where the frequency transfer functions of the sound playback system and/or listening mechanisms (user's own hearing) can be measured and compensated for. For example, the acoustic environment during recording and mastering can be measured, and the measurements can be recorded in an inaudible portion of an audio track. The acoustic environment can include speaker frequency, distortion, reverberation, channel separation, room acoustics, etc. In addition, a hearing profile of the audio creator, such as the recording artist, sound engineer, mastering person, etc., can be included within the inaudible data. Further, the acoustic environment and/or the hearing profile of the audio consumer can also be used to modify the audio prior to reproducing the audio to the audio consumer.
REAL-TIME ROUTE CONFIGURING OF ENTERTAINMENT CONTENT
A computer-implemented method for producing real-time media content customized for a travel event in a dynamic travel route between an origin and a destination of a connected vehicle. The method includes maintaining media production data, receiving information on a travel event including route information, producing media content based on the travel event and travel route information, and streaming the media content to connected cars and servers along the travel route.
