OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE OF ROTATING CAGE TYPE JUKEBOX DISC TRAY
An opening and closing device of rotating cage type jukebox disc tray including a first disc tray carrying discs and an opening and closing mechanism of disc tray including a first linkage mechanism and a first driving device is provided. The first linkage mechanism includes a first linkage bar, a first sliding member and a second linkage bar. The second linkage bar is slidingly disposed on the first sliding member which is slidingly disposed on the first linkage bar. When an end portion of the second linkage bar is connected to a first ear portion on a lateral side of the first disc tray, the first driving device drives the first sliding member to slide on the first linkage bar, leading the second linkage bar to slide on the first sliding member and thereby leading the first disc tray to rotate around a first fixing post.
Storage array enclosure having sidewall step for use with expansion module
An enclosure has a sidewall with a step that results in an upper part of the sidewall extending over a slide mounting region. A backplane is located at a base of the enclosure and is configured to receive a plurality of data storage drives. A circuit carrier extends from the backplane to the step in the side of the enclosure. The circuit carrier has one or more connectors proximate an upper surface of the step and is configured to receive one or more expansion modules that expand a functionality of the backplane.
Opening and closing device of rotating cage type jukebox disc tray
An opening and closing device comprises a disc tray, a mounting shaft and a jukebox manipulator. The disc tray is mounted on the mounting shaft. A positioning structure is provided between the disc tray and the mounting shaft. The mounting shaft is mounted on an outer circumference of a jukebox rotating cage. The jukebox manipulator is mounted on a manipulator driving unit. A side of the manipulator driving unit is provided with an optical drive, the jukebox manipulator is provided with a driving plate structure and the disc tray is provided with a driving lever. When the jukebox rotating cage rotates, the disc tray can revolve around the rotating shaft of jukebox rotating cage and can rotate around the mounting shaft. With the assistance of in-place bumping post which is provided by a side of the jukebox rotating cage, the positioning structure can locate the rotation of disc tray at a fixed static angle.
High density storage assembly
A high-density storage assembly having a casing, an engaging mechanism, and a recording medium machine; the casing has a receiving space, with a plurality of fixing portions disposed on a substrate at a bottom of the casing, the engaging mechanism has at least two supporting portions arranged in a side by side in a transverse width direction, each having a coupling portion and a supporting plate, with the coupling portions connected to the fixing portions of the substrate of the casing, respectively, and extended upward and obliquely to form the supporting plates. A containing space for movably placing and positioning the recording medium machine is formed between an abutting leaf spring and a limit plate which are disposed on a lower surface of the supporting plate of one of two adjacent said supporting portions and an upper surface of the supporting plate of another said supporting portion, respectively.
MEDIA LIBRARY INCLUDING STORAGE MEDIA RETRIEVAL ASSEMBLY
A retrieval assembly (22) for moving storage media (16) within a media library (10), the media library (10) including a rack assembly (20) having a first rack (20A) and a spaced apart second rack (20B), comprises a picker system (32), an assembly base (30), a first mover (28A), a second mover (28B), and a control system (26). The picker system (32) selectively engages the storage media (16). The assembly base (30) supports the picker system (32). The first mover (28A) is secured to the assembly base (30), and selectively moves along the first rack (20A). The second mover (28B) is also secured to the assembly base (30), and selectively moves along the second rack (20B). The second mover (28B) is spaced apart from the first mover (28A). The control system (26) controls independent movement of the first mover (28A) and the second mover (28B) to position the assembly base (30) relative to the storage media (16).
