A Coriolis measuring transducer comprises a pair of measuring tubes; an exciter; at least two sensors; and two manifolds. Each measuring tube has a first outer measuring tube bend and a second outer measuring tube bend. Each measuring tube pair has a first group of at least two fixing elements and a second group of at least two fixing elements. The fixing elements have, along the measuring tube centerline, a first separation from outer ends of the measuring tube bends of at most 0.7 bend length. The outer measuring tube bends have, in each case, at least one stiffening element, wherein the stiffening elements are arranged between the groups of fixing elements, wherein the stiffening elements have, in each case, a second separation from an inner end of their measuring tube bend of at least 0.2 bend length.

A coriolis flowmeter, comprising a measurement device inlet and a measurement device outlet for a fluid, at least one directly measuring direct measuring tube (8, 9) with at least one oscillation generator (25) and at least two oscillation sensors (26, 27), at least one indirectly measuring indirect measuring tube (10) with an indirect measuring tube outlet (23) and at least one flow divider (13) arranged downstream of the measurement device inlet and upstream of the at least one direct measuring tube (8, 9) and the at least one indirect measuring tube (10) in the flow direction, is characterized in that the at least one direct measuring tube (8, 9) opens directly or indirectly into the indirect measuring tube (10) or one of the indirect measuring tubes (10) upstream of the indirect measuring tube outlet (23) in the flow direction. Sensor for measuring the mass flow rate of a flowable medium
A mass flow measuring sensor includes: an oscillatable measuring tube bent in a tube plane; an oscillation exciter for exciting bending oscillations in a bending oscillation use-mode; two oscillation sensors for registering oscillations; a support system; and a measuring sensor housing; wherein the support system has support system oscillation modes, including elastic deformations of the support plate; wherein the support plate is cut to form a number of spirally shaped spring securements, via which the support plate is secured to the measuring sensor housing with oscillation degrees of freedom, whose eigenfrequencies are lower than a use-mode eigenfrequency of the bending oscillation use-mode, wherein the use-mode eigenfrequency is lower than the eigenfrequencies of the support system oscillation modes, wherein a calibration factor describes a proportionality between a mass flow through the measuring tube and a phase difference between oscillations of the measuring tube oscillating in the bending oscillation use-mode.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASCERTAINING A FLOW PARAMETER USING A CORIOLIS FLOW METER
The invention relates to a method for ascertaining a flow parameter of a medium, in particular the mass flow rate, using a Coriolis flow meter of a specified measurement device type and to a device which is suitable for said method. According to the method, the medium, which has a medium viscosity, flows through at least one measurement tube piece that is mechanically vibrated by a respective excitation signal, at least one measurement signal dependent on the flow parameter, in particular a phase shift, is ascertained in the vibration behavior of the respective measurement tube piece, and the flow parameter is determined from the at least one measurement signal while taking into consideration the dependency of the flow parameter on the medium viscosity, wherein a data field which is ascertained using an interpolation method, in particular a kriging method, and which indicates the dependency of the flow parameter on the medium viscosity is used in order to determine the flow parameter.
CORIOLIS MASS FLOW SENSORS HAVING DIFFERENT RESONANT FREQUENCIES
A flow measurement system includes two or more flow sensors that may operate simultaneously and a plurality of connected flow paths for flow of fluids. Each flow sensor is positioned along a different flow path of the plurality of connected flow paths and includes at least one flow tube and a support that clamps the flow tube. The flow tube of each flow sensor has a different resonant frequency so that cross-talk between the flow sensors can be reduced or eliminated. In some embodiments, the flow tube of each flow sensor has a different tube length, wall thickness, material, and/or weight. The flow measurement system can also include one or more pumps for pumping fluid into the flow sensors and a dampener arranged between a pump and a corresponding flow sensor for mitigating interference on the flow sensor from operation of the pump.

An apparatus and method of decreasing vibrational sensitivity of strain based measurements of fluid flow parameters for a fluid flow in a conduit is provided. The method includes using at least one vibrational sensor to sense a conduit to determine vibrational characteristics of the conduit, determining a predominant elastic axis using the measured vibrational characteristics, and securing a strain sensor array to an outer surface of the conduit, the strain sensor array having a plurality of strain sensors disposed at different axial positions of the conduit, the strain sensor array secured to the outer surface of the conduit at a position so that the strain sensor array is oriented substantially symmetric to the determined predominant elastic axis.
