ULTRA-VIOLET FLUORESCING SEALANT
A sealing element that visually indicates when a sealing element has been opened or corrupted without destruction of the seal. Ultraviolet light passes through a scattering layer and is absorbed by a fluorescing layer, the fluorescing layer reemitting the light in the visual spectrum and thereby allowing a user to inspect the integrity of the sealing element without otherwise destroying the seal.

Typically, the packaged sealed product is a pharmaceutical or other medicinal product.
METHOD FOR INSPECTING A SEAL OF A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
A method for inspecting a seal of a flexible container for a fluid, particularly a fluid medication, includes covering the container at least in partpreferably completelyby a gas-permeable layer. The container, together with the gas-permeable layer, is arranged in a flexible, substantially gas-tight bag, and the substantially gas-tight bag is evacuated by pumping out via a bag opening. The container is filled with a noble gas, and the presence of noble gas, which escapes out of the bag opening from the container via a leak through the gas-permeable layer, is detected.

CONTAINER LEAK DETECTION
There is provided a leak detection system for detecting breaches in sealed food containers. The leak detection system comprises air-sample testing equipment configured to test the composition of an air sample provided to the air-sample testing equipment. At least one pressing member is provided configured to, in use, apply pressure to the sealed food container located in an air-sampling region. At least one air-sampling port is located in the air-sampling region. An air sample conduit is provided extending between the at least one air-sampling port and the air-sample testing equipment. In use, the at least one air-sampling port takes an air sample from the air-sampling region at least during or after the at least one pressing member applies pressure to the sealed food container in the air-sampling region and communicates said air sample through the air sample conduit to the air-sample testing equipment.
SEALING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A POSSIBLE GAS LEAK AT A FITTING CONNECTION FOR BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
The sealing arrangement includes a connecting device and one or more housing parts of a housing unit for enclosing of a component, typically an attachment component forming a head of the connecting device. The gas permeable end formed in such component can be isolated, so that the sealing arrangement is adapted for use in detecting a detectable gas in a hermetically sealed detection chamber. Thanks to a sealing structure configured at a passageway for the fastening of the connecting device, a housing unit is obtained with a tight radial contact around an intermediate portion of the connecting device. The device is fitted with a flexible hose end, preferably at a barbed nozzle forming the end at the opposite from the gas permeable end. With such arrangement, the hose mounting can be tested for its integrity.

The object of the invention is to provide means and method of monitoring target gas content in gas tight membrane enclosing a volume containing an object. The visible gas indicator comprises means for being fastened to a gas tight membrane enclosing a volume containing an object, where the gas indicator comprises a chamber having a transparent window. The chamber is in gas communication with the interior of the volume. The window is arranged outside said volume, and a substrate is arranged inside said chamber and visible from outside said volume, where said substrate changes colours when exposed to a target gas.
LEAKAGE INSPECTION METHOD AND LEAKAGE INSPECTION DEVICE FOR CONTAINER TO BE INSPECTED
A leakage inspection method and leakage inspection device for container to be inspected are provided. When a container to be inspected having a deformable flexible part is to be inspected for leakage, the container to be inspected is filled with an inspection gas containing helium, the container to be inspected, which has been filled with the inspection gas, is disposed in an inspection chamber partitioned from the outside, and an upward flow of a carrier gas is formed from the lower part to the upper part of the container to be inspected. A leakage of the inspection gas filled in the container to be inspected is then detected on the basis of the result of measuring the concentration of helium in the carrier gas collected at a position higher than a position where the carrier gas is fed into the inspection chamber.

A method for conducting an integrity test on a flexible test container (1) includes arranging the test container (1) in an examination container (5) that is sealable in a fluid-tight manner, providing negative pressure in the interior of the sealed examination container (5), filling examination fluid into the test container (1) arranged in the examination container (5), detecting examination fluid present in the interior of the examination container (5), and providing negative pressure in the test container (1) arranged in the examination container (5) prior to filling the examination fluid. Prior to filling the examination fluid, the negative pressure in the test container (1) is lower than the negative pressure in the interior of the examination container (5), and the pressure difference between the negative pressure in the test container (1) and the negative pressure in the interior of the sealed examination container (5) is more than 0 mbar and a maximum of 100 mbar.
