A liquid crystal display apparatus includes: a display panel having a display region and a peripheral region; a front cover; a first buffer member; a panel holder; and a second buffer member. The peripheral region includes four corner portions and four central portions. At least one buffer member of the first buffer member and the second buffer member includes a plurality of cushion members and at least one resin sheet. The at least one buffer member does not include a cushion member formed of a resin between the four corner portions and the front cover or between the four corner portions and the panel holder.

A display apparatus includes: a display panel, a guide panel coupled to a rear surface of the display panel, a main frame coupled to the guide panel, and a force sensor module disposed between the guide panel and the main frame. The force sensor module includes: a sensor bar including one or more sensor rods, the one or more sensor rods extending from a central portion of the main frame toward a peripheral portion of the main frame, and a strain gauge provided at each of the one or more sensor rods.
Display backlight illumination of a housing perimeter
An information handling system display manages direction of illumination from an internal backlight to illuminate the display perimeter. A translucent material disposed between a liquid crystal display panel and backlight manages a color of backlight illumination applied at the display perimeter. In various alternative embodiments, the translucent material selectively adjusts light transmission characteristics to adjust light that passes to a frontside of the liquid crystal display panel.

A display device according to the present invention comprises: a display panel; a middle cabinet for mounting the display panel; and a foam pad which is interposed between the display panel and the middle cabinet, and has a light absorbing material formed in either an area having a contact surface with the display panel or a contact surface with the middle cabinet. A display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display panel; a case top-down assembly covering a lower area of the display panel; a middle cabinet in which the display panel is mounted, and a cover bottom coupled to the case top-down assembly and the middle cabinet. The middle cabinet comprises a first mounting unit overlapping a partial area at a first long side of the display panel; and a second mounting unit overlapping a partial area at a first short side of the display panel. Ends of the first mounting unit and the second mounting unit overlap each other in a first overlapping area.
The display apparatus of the present invention can be linked with an artificial intelligence module, a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a device related to a 5 G service, and the like.

The backlight unit includes a frame including at least one protrusion, a light guide plate disposed between the frame and the display panel, the light guide plate including at least one groove or hole corresponding to the at least one protrusion of the frame, an optical layer disposed between the light guide plate and the display panel, and a light source disposed on the side of the light guide plate.
