Display panel and manufacturing method thereof
A display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer; a carrier of the first substrate includes a plurality of carriers, a spacer layer of the second substrate includes a plurality of spacers, each carrier disposed corresponds to each spacer, wherein the carrier comprises a base and at least one sub-carrier disposed on the base. The present disclosure adopts different thickness of the carriers to form a step difference, thereby relieving surface pressure of the display panel and saving manufacturing cost.
Liquid crystal display device
A liquid crystal display device includes a TFT substrate and a counter substrate and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched therebetween. A scanning line, a video signal line, a thin film transistor connected to the scanning line and the video signal line, a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, and a counter electrode are formed on the TFT substrate, and a columnar spacer formed on the counter substrate. The pixel and counter electrodes are transparent, and the liquid crystal layer is controlled by an electric field generated between the pixel and counter electrodes. The counter electrode contacts with a metal line having a first part which is extended in parallel with the scanning line and a second part which is extended in parallel with the video signal line, a width of the first part of the metal line being narrower than a width of the scanning line.
DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A display panel and a display device are disclosed. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a spacer. The first substrate and the second substrate are aligned and bonded together. The spacer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second substrate includes multiple pixel regions arranged in an array and a shielding region located between adjacent pixel regions. One end of the spacer is fixed to the first substrate, and the other end abuts on the respective shielding region. The second substrate further includes an anti-skid structure arranged in the shielding region and disposed between the respective adjacent pixel regions. Both ends of the anti-skid structure extend along the shielding region to form a guide member.
Substrate
A substrate and a method for producing the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a substrate includes a base layer, a black layer formed on the base layer, and column spacers formed on the black layer, wherein a loss rate of spacers measured by a peel test is 15% or less. The substrate can have excellent adhesiveness of the spacer to the base layer or the black layer and ensuring appropriate darkening properties. The method can effectively produce such a substrate without adverse effects such as occurrence of foreign materials without separate treatment such as heat treatment.
Display device
A display device including a first display substrate including a switching element disposed on a first base, a height difference generation pattern disposed on the switching element to overlap with the switching element, a color filter layer disposed on the height difference generation pattern and covering the height difference generation pattern, an organic layer disposed on the color filter layer and including a protruding part overlapping the height difference generation pattern, and a pixel electrode disposed on the organic layer, electrically connected to the switching element, and not overlapping the protruding part; a second display substrate including a second base facing the first base; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second display substrates; and a column spacer disposed between a first surface of the second base facing the first base and the organic layer and overlapping the protruding part.
Photopolymerizable resin composition, display device using same, and manufacturing method thereof
A photopolymerizable resin composition includes a first layer and a second layer; and a barrier layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer, the barrier layer includes one or more of SiNx, SiOx, SiON, Mo, a Mo oxide, Cu, a Cu oxide, Al, an Al oxide, Ag, and a Ag oxide.
Coating composition
A coating composition, a method for manufacturing a substrate using the same, and an optical device are provided. The method for manufacturing the substrate provides the substrate having excellent performance, as the substrate has fixed spacers on its surface by using a single layer in which nanoparticles and spacers are dispersed in an alignment film to reduce processes and cost. The optical device may be manufactured by such method.
Liquid crystal light control device, and method of manufacturing liquid crystal light control device
Liquid crystal is prevented from leaking out into a terminal hole in a liquid crystal injection process, and the productivity of a liquid crystal light control device is improved. A liquid crystal light control device according to the present technology includes a plurality of liquid crystal layers, terminals provided for respective electrodes disposed to face each other across the liquid crystal layers, and terminal holes formed above the terminals, and an injection mark of a liquid crystal for the liquid crystal layer is formed on a back face side which is a face on a side opposite to a face that has been opened by the terminal hole.
DISPLAY DEVICE
To improve the display quality of a display device, the display device includes a display section and a frame section surrounding a periphery of the display section. A substrate in the display device includes a conductor pattern constituting a circuit section and an insulating film serving as an organic film covering the conductor pattern. The insulating film extends to a peripheral edge of the substrate. A slit, which penetrates the insulating film in a thickness direction, is formed in a corner part of the insulating film. The slit is formed at a position not overlapping the circuit section.

A display panel and a display device are disclosed. In preparing the display panel, based on a height difference formed between a plurality of first column spacers and a plurality of second column spacers, as a color filter substrate deforms during a vacuum assembly process, a deformation area of a blind hole area increases because the second column spacers are not in contact with an array substrate in the blind hole area, resulting in a decrease in a radius of curvature of the deformation of the blind hole area, so that an amount of deformation is reduced and poor focusing due to Newton's ring effect on the blind hole can be prevented.
