The present disclosure provides an electrophotographic photosensitive member that can suppress a black spot and an exposure memory. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a support, an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer having a mono-layer structure in this order, wherein the undercoat layer contains a binder resin and strontium titanate particles; and the photosensitive layer having a mono-layer structure contains a binder resin, a charge generation material, a hole transport material and an electron transport material.

An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer having a single-layer structure. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating material, an electron transport material, a polycarbonate resin, and a hole transport material. The electron transport material includes a compound having a halogen atom and represented by general formula (1), (2), (3), (4), or (5). The polycarbonate resin has a terminal group having a fluoro group and represented by general formula (10). The hole transport material includes a compound represented by general formula (20), (21), (22), (23), (24), (25), (26), or (27). A charge of calcium carbonate as measured by charging the calcium carbonate through friction with the photosensitive layer is at least +6.5 C/g. ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MEMBER
An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer is a single-layer photosensitive layer and contains a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin. A hole mobility .sub.h is at least 1.0010.sup.7 cm.sup.2/V/second and an electron mobility .sub.e is at least 4.0010.sup.8 cm.sup.2/V/second in the photosensitive layer as measured under conditions of a temperature of 23 C. and an electric field intensity of 1.5010.sup.5 V/cm. A ratio (.sub.h/.sub.e) of the hole mobility .sub.h to the electron mobility .sub.e is at least 1.0 and no greater than 50.0.

Electrophotographic photoreceptor, process cartridge, and image-forming apparatus
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive support and a single-layer photosensitive layer. The conductive support has an outer peripheral surface with a maximum surface roughness height (Rmax) of about 4.0 m or less, and the outer peripheral surface has a recess with a depth-to-aperture size ratio (depth/aperture size) of about 0.03 or more and about 0.12 or less. The single-layer photosensitive layer is disposed on the conductive support and has a thickness of about 20 m or more and a modulus of elasticity of about 4.5 GPa or more.

An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer includes a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer. The electron transport material includes a compound having a halogen atom and represented by a general formula (1), (2), (3), (4), or (5). The binder resin includes a polyarylate resin. The polyarylate resin includes at least one type of repeating unit each represented by general formula (11), at least one type of repeating unit each represented by general formula (12), and a terminal group represented by general formula (13). In general formula (13), R.sup.f represents a chain aliphatic group substituted by at least one fluoro group. In general formula (1), R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, R.sup.8, R.sup.9, and R.sup.10 each represent, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.

The present invention relates to an electrophotographic photoreceptor for positive charging, the photoreceptor comprising: a conductive support; and a single-layer type photosensitive layer disposed on the conductive support, the single-layer type photosensitive layer containing a binder resin, a compound (1) having hole transporting ability, and a compound (2) having electron-transporting ability, wherein the level Ah of a compound having a highest energy level of HOMO in the compound (1), the level BI of a compound having a lowest energy level of LUMO in the compound (2), and an energy level Ch of HOMO of another compound C which has a molecular weight of 500 or less and is contained in the photosensitive layer satisfy specific equations.
