Lens mirror array, optical unit and image forming apparatus
An example is a lens mirror array in which a plurality of optical elements, which comprises a first lens surface formed at the top of convex portion protruding outwards for converging light, a protrusion which includes a first mirror surface that reflects the light emitted from the first lens surface at the top and a light-shielding surface that has side walls at two sides thereof with respect to a light advancing direction and prevents advance of the light through the side walls, a second mirror surface that reflects the light reflected by the first mirror surface of the protrusion and a second lens surface that images the light emitted from the second mirror surface on an image plane, is arranged in a horizontal scanning direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, an endless belt and a plurality of stretching rollers. The stretching rollers includes a tiltable steering roller, a sliding member, a first stretching roller having a smallest diameter, and a second stretching roller having a largest diameter of the diameters. With respect to rotational axis directions of the stretching rollers, lengths of contact portions of the stretching rollers with the belt are shorter than a width of the belt, the length of the contact portion of the first stretching roller with the belt is a first length, the length of the contact portion of the second stretching roller with the belt is a second length shorter than the first length, and end positions of the contact portions of the first and second stretching rollers with respect to the rotational axis direction are different from each other.
RECORDING MEDIUM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Provided is a recording medium including a first base material that is sent into an image forming apparatus to form an image and has a first adhesive layer, a second base material that has a second adhesive layer to be bonded to the first adhesive layer, and at least one storage member that is disposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, wherein a slit surrounds at least the storage member and has a depth from the first base material to the second adhesive layer, and wherein the storage member is provided at a side to be sent later into the image forming apparatus in a region surrounded by the slit.
DEVELOPER TRANSPORT DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A developer transport device includes a transport path through which a developer is transported from a developer container to a developing device; an inlet portion that is disposed at an upstream end of the transport path in a developer transport direction and into which the developer falls freely from an outlet opening of the developer container; a transport member that is disposed in the transport path and that transports the developer by rotating; and a rotation control unit that causes, if the transport member has not been driven for a predetermined period, the transport member to rotate in a backward direction that is opposite to a forward direction in which the transport member rotates when supplying the developer to the developing device.
Image forming apparatus
A toner container is removably mounted in a housing of an image forming apparatus. The toner container contains a toner and has a stirring member for stirring the toner. An electric motor drives the stirring member. A storage device stores a required load value set for the toner container. A load detecting section includes an electric current sensor that measures a drive electric current of the electric motor. The load detecting section detects an actual load value of the electric motor in driving of the stirring member based on the drive electric current measured. A determination section compares the actual load value detected by the load detecting section with the required load value stored in the storage device and determines whether or not the actual load value coincides with the required load value to determine whether or not the toner container mounted in the housing is a genuine product.
Image forming apparatus and genuine product determination method
An image forming apparatus includes a toner container information storage section, a toner container information acquisition section, a toner container information readout section, a number-of-refills comparing section, a genuine product determining section, and a toner container information update section. The toner container information acquisition section is configured to acquire an identification code and a number of refills from a toner container. The number-of-refills comparing section is configured to read out, based on the acquired identification code, the number of refills of the corresponding toner container from the toner container information storage section and determine whether or not the number of refills acquired from the toner container is smaller than the read number of refills. If the number of refills acquired from the toner container is smaller than the read number of refills, the genuine product determining section determines that the toner container is a non-genuine product.
PRINTERS
Printers comprising a plurality of imaging units are described. In an example, each imaging unit selectively deposits at least one printing substance and an intermediate transfer member cooperates with the imaging units such that, in use of the printer, a printable image may be formed thereon, the printable image comprising printing substance from at least two imaging units.
DEVELOPING APPARATUS
A developing apparatus capable of suppressing an excessive discharge of developer from a developer discharge hole is disclosed. A first opening part through which developer is carried from a first case part to a second case part, and a developer discharge hole through which the developer is discharged are provided to the first case part. A first carrying member includes a counter blade between the first opening part and the developer discharge hole. The counter blade carries the developer in an opposite direction to a carrying direction of a first carrying blade of the first carrying member. A gap is prepared between an upper part of the counter blade and the first case part. A cross-sectional area of a discharge path for the developer from the counter blade to the developer discharge hole changes according to a progress of the developer along the discharge path.
SHEET-CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS
An image-forming apparatus for forming an image on a sheet includes an image-forming unit that forms the image on the sheet, and a conveying unit that conveys the sheet on which the image is formed by the image-forming unit. The conveying unit includes a pair of first rollers that discharges the sheet to the outside of the image-forming apparatus and a pair of second rollers that conveys the sheet in a direction in which the sheet is discharged to the outside of the image-forming apparatus and that subsequently switches a conveyance direction of the sheet to an opposite direction to convey the sheet again to the image-forming unit. The pair of the first rollers and the pair of the second rollers partially overlap when viewed in a width direction of the sheet that is perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the sheet.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTING MEMBER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An electrical connecting member electrically connects between two conductive members comprising. The electrical connecting member includes a coil spring part formed by winding a wire around a coil axis. The electrical connecting member comes into contact with one of the conductive members with elastic force in a circumferential direction around the coil axis and comes in contact with the other of the conductive members with elastic force in an axial direction of the coil axis so that the conductive members are electrically connected.
