SHIFTER LEVER STRUCTURE AND REMOTE CONTROLLER USING THE SAME
20170262009 · 2017-09-14 ·

A remote controller comprises a shifter lever structure, a controller, and a signal emission device. The shifter lever structure comprises a base, a press key movably connected to the base, a shifter lever arranged surrounding the press key and movably connected to the base, and a sensor coupled to the press key and the shifter lever and configured to obtain moving state information about the press key and the shiner lever. A movement mode of the shifter lever is different from a movement mode of the press key. The controller is electrically coupled to the sensor. The signal emission device is electrically coupled to the controller. The controller is configured to receive the moving state information from the sensor and emit a control signal corresponding to the moving state information via the signal emission device.

Multi-function controller and method of using same

A multi-function controller, comprising a control element, a support element, at least a first light emitter and at least a first light receiver. A multi-function controller, comprising a control element, at least a first magnet and at least a first sensor. In some aspects, one or more occluders is provided. In some aspects, a control element is rotatable and/or tiltable, and/or the control element can be pushed or pulled, and movement of the control element is detected optically or by Hall effect sensors. In some aspects, an icon cap is not rotatable. A method comprising rotating and/or tilting a control element on a multi-function controller, and detecting a position of the control element.

Multi-axis gimbal mounting for controller providing tactile feedback for the null command

A gimbal support that senses rotational displacement and provides haptic feedback in one, two or three dimensions of a manually-operated control member used to generate control inputs using a single hand while also limiting cross-coupling.

Disclosed is a multi-directional input device, including a pressing switch. Each of two opposite side surfaces of the pressing switch is provided with a first protrusion. The base includes two base side surfaces respectively opposite to the two opposite side surfaces of the pressing switch. Each of the two opposite base side surfaces is provided with a second protrusion respectively, and the second protrusion is engaged with the first protrusion to fix the pressing switch.

Modular input interface device with multi-axial interaction

A modular input interface device having multi-axial functionality in a housing having an input interface that is capable of up to seven directions of movement. The modular interface device provides input to at least one processor associated with one or more vehicle systems.

Gyral-linear actuator for encoder

A gyral-linear actuator for an encoder comprises an actuator housing having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a hollow. A control member extends from the first end of the actuator housing. A spring is positioned within the hollow of the actuator housing. Moreover, a coupler has an encoder connector and an extension that couples the control member to the encoder connector. Under this configuration, when the encoder connector is coupled to a rotary shaft of the encoder, rotation of the control member causes corresponding rotation of the encoder connector so as to turn the rotary shaft of the encoder, and depression of the control member causes corresponding depression of the rotary shaft of the encoder operating a switch function of the rotary encoder.

A sensor system and a joystick including the sensor system. The sensor system comprises a magnetic field sensor, and first and second magnetic sources. The first magnetic source is rotatable relative to a sensitive surface of the sensor and generates a first magnetic field contribution of at least quadrupolar order. The second magnetic source is pivotable with respect to the sensitive surface and generates a second magnetic field contribution. The sensor is configured for detecting at least an in-plane component of a superimposition field of the first and second magnetic contributions at a plurality of lateral measurement locations on the sensitive surface, obtaining measurements, and determining a rotation angle for the first source from the field gradient measurements and two angular directions for the second source from the field mean measurements. Lateral measurement locations are arranged into two pairs of diametrically opposite measurement locations with respect to the sensitive surface.

DYNAMICALLY BALANCED, MULTI-DEGREES-OF-FREEDOM HAND HELD CONTROLLER

A controller is capable of controlling an asset or target in physical and/or virtual three-dimensional space using a single hand by generating control inputs in four or more degrees of freedom while also limiting cross-coupling (unintended motions). The controller includes a first control member is configured to be gripped in a user's single, second control member is disposed on or near a top end of the first member movable with at least one degree of freedom independently of the movement of the first control member, and a third control member positioned on the first member for displacement by one or more digits of the user's single hand and coupled with the second member to move in opposition to movement of the second control member.
