POWER-EFFICIENT DYNAMIC APPLICATION CONTENT DISPLAY FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Aspects of the subject technology relate to power consuming processes of electronic devices. For example, an electronic device may create, initiate, and/or modify a power consuming process of the electronic device, based in part on user power consumption information that indicates a typical amount of power consumed by a user of the electronic device. The electronic device may recommend increases in power consumption for low power consumption users and/or decreases in power consumption for high power consumption users. A power consumption process may include a visual arrangement of graphical elements that each display periodically, occasionally, and/or continuously updated information from the application, when a full user interface of the application is not displayed.
POWER STATE DETECTION VIA AUDIO SIGNAL CAPTURE
Embodiments are provided for automatically determining the power state of a consumer electronic device, such as a television. For instance, a switching device may transmit a reference audio signal to a consumer electronic device for playback thereby. An audio signal captured by a microphone is compared to a reference audio signal. If a level of similarity between the captured audio signal and the reference audio signal meet a threshold condition, then a determination is made that the consumer electronic device is powered on. Otherwise, a determination is made that the consumer electronic device is powered off, in a standby state or muted.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY CHANGING IN SIZE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
According to an example embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device includes a motor, a flexible display disposed to be changed in a size to which the flexible display is exposed to one side in accordance with an operation of the motor, a processor configured to control the display and the motor, and the processor may identify event information associated with a change in a size of an exposed display, identify an operation pattern of the motor based on the event information, and change the size of the exposed display based on the identified operation pattern.
REDUCED POWER CLOCK GENERATOR FOR LOW POWER DEVICES
A disclosed technique includes triggering entry into a clock bypass mode, in which a bypass clock generator provides clock signals to functional elements and a primary clock generator does not provide clock signals to functional elements; and triggering exit from the clock bypass mode, in which the bypass clock generator does not provide clock signals to the functional elements and the primary clock generator does provide clock signals to the functional elements.

Touch circuit, touch display device, and touch driving method thereof, for generating touch driving signal in sync with pen driving signal
Discussed is a touch display device, including a display panel on which a touch screen panel including a plurality of touch electrodes is embedded, and a touch control unit configured to generate a pen detection signal corresponding to a pen driving signal of a stylus from a touch sensing signal transmitted from the display panel, and generate a touch driving signal synchronized with the pen driving signal of the stylus by using the pen detection signal.
Electronic display pipeline power management systems and methods
An electronic device may include a display panel. When content of an image frame is expected to consume relatively higher amounts of power, a controller of the electronic device may operate a switch to change a power supply of the display panel to be a power management integrated circuit of the electronic device. However, when content of an image frame is expected to consume relatively less amounts of power, the controller may operate the switch to change the power supply of the display panel to be a power supply of an electronic display, such as a power supply used to power driver circuitry of the electronic display.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BATTERY CONTEXT-AWARE LIMITING OF BIOS MANAGED OPERATIONS
An information handling system may include a processor, a battery configured to provide electrical energy to components of the information handling system, and a basic input/output system (BIOS) communicatively coupled to the processor and embodied by executable instructions embodied in non-transitory computer readable media, the instructions configured to, when executed by the processor, in response to one of execution of a BIOS managed operation or a request for execution of the BIOS managed operation: determine an energy requirement for execution of the BIOS managed operation; determine an energy capacity of the battery; determine if the energy capacity is sufficient to satisfy the energy requirement; and limit one or more features of the BIOS managed operation in response to the energy capacity being insufficient to satisfy the energy requirement.
