Information handling system location wakeup radio interface synchronized communications
An information handling system wirelessly interfaces with a location peripheral aid through primary radios that have a communication protocol, such as Bluetooth Low Energy or a wireless local area network, and through secondary radios having a low power wake and sleep using wake and sleep signals sent between the secondary radios. The location peripheral aid establishes communication with the information handling system, which reports its position to a network location to allow tracking location of the peripheral aid. The peripheral primary and secondary radio transmit and receive states operate with different profiles to manage power based upon bi-directional communications tracked over time.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A DEVICE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for controlling a device, including: determining a distance state between a keyboard and a terminal device, the keyboard is in communication connection with the terminal device; in a case that the distance state is a distant state, adjusting a state of a screen of the terminal device to a wake-up state, and obtaining a first position of the keyboard and a second position of the terminal device; determining an angle between the keyboard and the screen of the terminal device according to the first position and the second position; and adjusting a state of the keyboard according to the angle.
Hinge device and electronic apparatus
A hinge device can detect an open angle and an opening/closing angular velocity with high responsiveness and simple configuration. The hinge device enables rotary motion of a main-body chassis and a display chassis, and includes a first chassis shaft non-rotatably provided with respect to the main-body chassis, a second chassis shaft non-rotatably provided with respect to the display chassis, a cylindrical body into which the first chassis shaft is inserted to rotate with rotary motion thereof, a ring-type magnet non-rotatably fixed to the cylindrical body, a sensor that detects a movement of the magnet associated with the rotary motion from the change of magnetism, and a controller that reads a signal from the sensor to calculate an open angle and an opening/closing angular velocity.

INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM PERIPHERAL DEVICE SLEEP POWER MANAGEMENT
A peripheral input device, such as a mouse and/or a keyboard, includes a thermal sensor that detects end user presence, such as with a passive infrared sensor. The peripheral input device enters a low power mode having a radio of a wireless network interface controller monitoring a user presence indication communicated from a host information handling system, such as when a user presence sensor in a dongle coupled to the information handling system detects a user and communicates the user presence indication by a wireless signal. In response, the peripheral input device monitors for the user with the thermal sensor so that the radio and other components can be powered down until a user is detected, at which time the thermal sensor is powered down and the position sensor becomes active.

Computing device with keyboard mode
A device can include a processor; memory operatively coupled to the processor; a display housing that includes a display operatively coupled to the processor; a keyboard housing that includes a keyboard; a hinge assembly that operatively couples the display housing and the keyboard housing for transitions between an closed orientation, an open orientation and a folded orientation; and wireless communication circuitry that, in a wireless keyboard mode of the folded orientation, operatively couples to the keyboard.
REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE
A remote control device according to an embodiment includes an operation button, a generator, an electrical storage part, electronic paper, and a controller. The operation button is for remotely operating a wet-area device. The generator generates electrical power by utilizing energy when the operation button is pressed. The electrical storage part stores the electrical power. The electronic paper displays a setting state of the wet-area device. The controller controls a refresh and a display-switching of the electronic paper by utilizing the electrical power stored in the electrical storage part. The controller starts the refresh in a first state by performing a first determination determining whether or not the electrical power stored in the electrical storage part is in the first state. The electrical power stored in the electrical storage part in the first state is larger than electrical power necessary to complete the refresh.
Generator button for electronic devices
One embodiment of the present disclosure includes an electronic device. The electronic device includes an enclosure and a button connected to the enclosure and movable relative thereto. The button includes a button cap defining a user input surface, a first magnetic element operably associated with one of the button cap or the enclosure, and a coil operably associated with the other of the button cap or the enclosure. Movement of the button cap relative to the enclosure, such as due to a user input force, causes the first magnetic element to induce a current in the coil and the induced current is correlated to a user input to the button cap.
Electronic device and method
According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a keyboard, a backlight and a hardware processor. The backlight illuminates the keyboard. The hardware processor is electrically coupled to the backlight. The hardware processor is configured to gradually decrease brightness of the backlight during a period of time of which the backlight is continuously on.
