Systems and methods for printing electronic documents that contain hyperlinks
The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for printing an input electronic document that contains one or more hyperlinks. According to the disclosed method, the input electronic document is received for printing. Then, one or more hyperlinks are detected and corresponding hyperlink destinations are extracted. Thereafter, one or more reference pages are added at an end of the input electronic document to create a final document for printing, the one or more reference pages list the extracted hyperlinks and corresponding hyperlink destinations. The final document is submitted to a printer for printing.
NON-TRANSITORY PROCESSOR READABLE MEDIUM STORING PRINTER PROGRAM, TERMINAL, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING TERMINAL
A non-transitory processor readable medium storing a printer program read out and executed by a terminal processor of a tablet terminal connectable to a printer, in which the printer program causes the terminal processor to acquire received URL scheme information, which is structured according to a URL scheme and in which predetermined control of the printer is specified, from a browser application, convert the received URL scheme information into a control command executable by the printer, and transmit the converted control command to the printer.
Data-driven schema for describing and executing management tasks in a graphical user interface
This disclosure describes a user interface (UI) conceptual model and a data model for quickly and easily developing and managing a GUI. The present methods and systems described herein provide for defining one or more UI elements in the UI conceptual model. The one or more UI elements may further reference one or more model objects in the data model. The one or more model objects may include one or more tasks, which may each be mapped to one or more commands for performing each task, or one or more data items, which may each be mapped to rules or conditions for transforming data. According to embodiments, graphics or functionality of a GUI may be easily and efficiently modified by adding, deleting, or modifying UI elements in the UI conceptual model or by adding, deleting, or modifying referenced model objects in the data model, thereby reducing management and development costs.
ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE IMPAIRED
Disclosed are methods and apparatus for generating accessible documents. In one embodiment, an initial document in a print format is obtained. The print format of the initial document is identified as one of a plurality of print formats. A parser corresponding to the one of the plurality of print formats is applied such that the initial document is parsed according to the print format of the initial document. An intermediate document that conforms to an intermediate format is generated based upon results obtained from applying the parser. A template for converting the intermediate document into an accessible document is obtained. The template is then such that an accessible document corresponding to the initial document is generated.
Method for enabling communication between a user device browser and a local device
A method, computer program product and system are provided to enable communication between a browser on a user device, such as a mobile device or personal computer, and a local device, such as a printer. A host system may provide a host web application for generating data for display by a browser, and may also integrate with an application programming interface (API) to embed code into the host web application such that when executed by the browser, enables the communication between the browser and a local device communication application. The local device communication application may then control communication to the local device, such as causing the data to be printed on a printer. The provided methods may be implemented independently of the browser type and/or operating system type.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store, when document data whose storage is designated has been printed, the document data as history document data, a selection unit configured to select new document data that has not yet been printed on a sheet and the history document data stored by the storage unit, and a generation unit configured to generate a combined document by combining the new document data and the history document data selected by the selection unit.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE FOR THE SAME
An image forming apparatus includes a interpretation unit, a memory control unit, and an execution unit. The interpretation unit is configured to interpret print data described in a page description language. The memory control unit is configured to control allocation a memory area to the interpretation unit. The execution unit is configured to execute printing by making the interpretation unit to which the memory area is allocated interpret the print data. The memory control unit releases the allocated memory area according to a time elapsed after the print data is interpreted without at least interpretation of print data being performed using the interpretation unit to which the memory area is allocated.
Non-Transitory Computer-Readable Medium Storing Instructions Realizing Printer Driver, and Method of Controlling Information Processing Device
A printer driver has a single filter. The filter includes a program for constructing a pipeline consisted of a plurality of stages based on a print ticket. In one or more of the plurality of stages, a content box of print-target data is modified. When the content box is modified, commands respectively indicating affine transformation matrices are generated. The commands are pushed into a command stack. The pushed commands are used for modification of a visual element. Specifically, the affine transformation matrices are multiplied and thereby an integrated transformation matrix is generated. The visual element is modified by multiplying an affine transformation matrix of the visual element by the integrated transformation matrix.
Image handling apparatus, image processing system, image process controlling method, and image process controlling program product
An image handling apparatus is disclosed, including an operation panel, hardware resources, a transferring part, and an image generation controlling part. The transferring part transfers image handle information input at the input screen to an external apparatus. The image generation controlling part receives and parses image generation information for at least one of the hardware resources to execute an image generation based on the image handle information, from the external apparatus in response to an instruction of the image generation, so that at least one of the hardware resources executes the image generation.
