PRINTING METHOD, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER- READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PRINT CONTROL PROGRAM FOR SCHEDULING OF PRINTING HAVING AN AUTOMATIC SWITCHING FUNCTION FOR ROLL PAPER
After the end of initial processing, such as a setting of a priority mode, a print schedule (a job execution schedule and a roll paper loading schedule) is created in consideration of the type, the remaining amount, and the like of roll paper loaded in each of a plurality of slots constituting an autochanger. Then, a possible loading time is obtained, which is a time at which roll paper can be loaded into a loading target slot that is a slot in which the roll paper is to be loaded during execution of continuous printing.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS CHANGING PRINTING ORDERS ACCORDING TO STRENGTH OF A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
An example image forming apparatus includes a print engine to form an image, a memory to store a plurality of print data and user information corresponding to each of the plurality of print data, a communication apparatus to communicate with a terminal through a wireless communication method, and a processor to control the print engine to print the plurality of print data.
Image scanning apparatus having scanner and image processor, control method therefor, and storage medium storing program for executing control method
An image scanning apparatus that is capable of executing control about an interrupt scan without using another apparatus. The image scanning apparatus includes a scanner and a controller. The scanner scans a document. The controller determines whether interrupt execution of a second scan that is different from a first scan is permitted based on a setting relevant to the first scan that is being executed. The scanner executes the second scan after suspending the first scan in a case where the interrupt execution of the second scan is permitted, and the scanner restarts the first scan after executing the second scan.
Reinstated print operations
Approaches for reinstating a print operation are described. In one example, a random-access code corresponding to print operation interrupted from completing, by a print intervention event, is obtained. Further, a reinstated print operation is generated based on the intervened print operation. Thereafter, the reinstated print operation is securely maintained, wherein the reinstated print operation is accessible upon providing the random-access code.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes a processor. The processor is configured to perform control for displaying executed jobs as a job history list together with images uniquely indicating the jobs, such that identical images are displayed for jobs with identical set values with respect to a predetermined setting item, each of the executed jobs constituting a job history.
Systems and Methods for Identifying a Set of Characters in a Media File
The illustrative embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for notifying a user when a set of characters are identified in a media file. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a set of characters inputted by the user of a computing device, playing the media file, transcribing the media file to form a transcription, and determining whether the transcription of the media file includes the set of characters. The method also includes initiating a notification prompt on a graphical user interface of the computing device in response to determining that the media file includes the set of characters.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and non-transitory recording medium
An image processing apparatus includes a memory and processing circuitry. The memory sequentially stores a plurality of read images read by a reading device. The processing circuitry transfers pairs of read images from the memory to an external apparatus in ascending order of priority in bookbinding to leave pairs of read images in the memory in descending order of priority in bookbinding. The processing circuitry further instructs an image forming device to execute image formation with pairs of read images in descending order of priority in bookbinding.
Image forming apparatus and image forming method capable of changing the internal priority of printing order in consideration of filtering
Provided is an image forming apparatus capable of appropriately setting and adjusting the order of printing jobs by considering of filtering. An instruction acquiring unit that performs filtering the plurality of jobs under a specific condition, presents a job list in which presented jobs are selected and arranged in printing order, and it acquires an instruction to change the printing order. An internal priority setting unit sets an internal priority different from the set priority specified for each of the plurality of jobs based on the change instruction. The internal priority setting unit, in a case of moving the job instructed by the change instruction in the job list, when there is an unpresented job by the filtering, presents the existence of the unpresented job, and sets the internal priority according to a move instruction to whether or not to skip and move the unpresented job.
Information processing apparatus, image forming system, and image forming method for expanding unpresented jobs and adjusting printing order
Provided is an information processing apparatus that can appropriately adjust the printing order even if there are unpresented jobs by filtering. An instruction acquiring unit filters the plurality of jobs according to a specific condition, presents a job list in which only filtered job is arranged in printing order, and acquires an instruction to change the printing order for selected job. A list expanding unit expands and presents at least part of unpresented job that is not presented by the filtering by the instruction acquiring unit in the job list when a specific time has elapsed while the selected job exists. A list adjusting unit adjusts the printing order in the job list according to the instruction having the unpresented job expanded by the list expanding unit. An image forming unit respectively outputs the plurality of jobs in the printing order.
INDUSTRIAL PRINTING SYSTEM, SERVER, AND VARIABLE PRINTING METHOD THAT REDUCE DELAYS DUE TO PROOFREADING DELAYS IN VARIABLE PRINTING
Provided is an industrial printing system that reduces the risk of delay due to proofreading in variable printing. This industrial printing system processes variable data for production printing. The status management unit manages the completion status of a plurality of records or a plurality of pages for the variable printing. A process control unit collectively acquires completed record(s) or completed page(s) managed by the status management unit and creates a job ticket. A process management unit performs a prepress process or a printing process by using a job ticket created by the process control unit. A post-processing unit performs post-processing according to the job ticket for a record or a page that has been performed prepress process or printing process by the process management unit.
